This week’s Blogger challenge is: What I love!
This week’s challenge is blogging about what you love about Second Life. Is it something in your inventory? A person? A feeling? What makes you log back into Second Life everyday?
You can look up any previous challenges in my Berry’s Blogger Challenge category and do them at anytime. <3

I love my alts and I love getting them naked and posing them in scandalous positions. hmmmm ok so maybe that’s more lust. :P
What I *really* love about Second Life is I can be any shape or form I desire and do as I please. I love the freedom. It gives me the ability to go wild with my imagination and put that energy towards creating something that I can be proud of or at least entertained with for a short period of time.

And of course, I also love the people that I have met in my Second Life. The relationships that have blossomed and the inspiration and love I have received in return.
Oh and I also love cybersex…just sayin. :P

This week’s Blogger challenge is: Childhood Anecdote
This week’s challenge is blogging a childhood anecdote. Share a story from your childhood that resonates with you, and if you can, tell us how it has affected you as an adult. I would love to read some funny stories but feel free to share whatever you like.
Please remember to link to your blogger challenge posts in the comments below so I don’t miss them and thanks ahead of time for participating! You can look up any previous challenges on this page and do them at anytime. <3
It was the summer of 1990 and I was only 9 years old. I remember that summer well because I had no worries in the world and nothing much to do. There was no school, no camp, no job, nothing. That whole summer I spent relaxing, playing with my friends, watching movies and also reading a ton of books. One thing that I remember clearly from that summer is waking up everyday really early in the morning, before sunrise, while everyone was still asleep. I would then pop a video tape in the vcr of any bollywood movie that was lying around. I must have watched about 70 to 80 movies that summer. Since everyone was still asleep I had the family room all to myself. I would crank up the volume at every song and dance away as if I was the star in the movie. I even for a while thought about running off to India and trying to become a bollywood actress. LOL Glad I didn’t do that!
I have no idea why these times keep coming back to me, but I do think of them often. I had no worries, no traumas, no dramas, nothing. It was just me, carefree and innocent. At times I long for that peace of mind that we have as children. When we don’t have a worry or care in the world and to us the world is no bigger than our family room. We can close our eyes and get lost in the fantasy. As an adult, no matter how hard I try (and even with the help of SL) reality still lingers closeby.

If you go back to my early days on flickr (please don’t, I’m kinda ashamed of my early pics lol) you will see a lot of ethnic-inspired pictures. That would be me reliving my childhood bollywood fantasies. lol I haven’t done a lot of those kinds of pictures in a while so it was great to break out some of my favorite Zaara lehengas and jewels and dance around in the White Taj.
The skin I’m wearing is the new updated version of Jolie from Dutch Touch. For a detailed look and non-photoshopped skin pictures, check out my Jolie v2 post on the Skin Addiction blog.
Also, it’s Eid al-Adha now so if you are celebrating I hope you have a wonderful and happy Eid! <3

This week’s Blogger challenge is: What do you believe in?
This week’s challenge is blogging about something that you strongly believe in. This isn’t necessarily a religious or spiritual question, although feel free to blog about it that way if you prefer. Also if you can, write about how this belief helps you and in what ways.
Please remember to link to your blogger challenge posts in the comments below so I don’t miss them and thanks ahead of time for participating! You can look up any previous challenges on this page and do them at anytime. <3

I believe in Auras. “An Aura is the electromagnetic field that surrounds the human body and every organism and object in the Universe.” I believe an Aura contains information about the subject you are interacting with and if you pay close attention it can help you understand them better. Sometimes when I meet someone new, I can sense if they have a bright or dark aura right away.
When I sense an individual has a bright and pure Aura, I feel confident that they are a good person and feel comfortable about my interactions with them. They are usually modest, humble, and not even aware of having a bright Aura. On the other hand, a person with a dark Aura leaves me feeling extremely uncomfortable because their intentions are unclear to me. I’m usually very cautious and keep my interactions at a minimum with these sorts of individuals.
I know it may seem like I am judging a book by it’s cover, but I am quite protective of what I am willing to share of myself with others and if I’m getting the wrong vibes, my intuition just doesn’t let me go any further. And for the most part, I am usually right.
The name Noori means light in my language. It usually refers to the light that may be surrounding someone and is given to a girl that has a very bright Aura. The new skin from AtomicBambi is named Noori and I believe it suits the name well. Although it’s difficult to determine a person’s Aura in a virtual world, the skin has a sort of angelic beauty to it which seems to radiate even if you are dressed slightly naughty. :P
Please remember to try the demos on your shape and with your favorite windlight setting before purchasing because these images are heavily photoshopped. Thank you.

P.S. I found this interesting Aura color chart on the Reiki for Holistic Health blog which I thought I would share.
P.P.S. For those of you wondering, no I don’t have my video card back yet. It has been delayed till next week. I just gave up and doing the best I can with what I have. The shadows you see are all photoshopped in.

This week’s Blogger challenge is: What’s your fix?
Blog about something that you just can’t live without. What are you addicted to? It can be a fashion fix, photo fix, SL fix, etc… Let’s hear about it.
Please remember to link to your blogger challenge posts in the comments below so I don’t miss them and thanks ahead of time for participating! You can look up any previous challenges on this page and do them at anytime. <3

I have to admit, I have been quite cranky lately, as you can see on my plurks here, here and here. Without my video card, I really don’t have the best graphics, especially not nice enough to take decent blog pics with so not getting the time to be able to work on pictures is frustrating me. It was my relaxation time, time that made me forget about all the problems in the world and just focus and enjoy putting my heart and soul into something. I am just not getting the photo fix that I need in order to be my normal cheery self that constantly poops rainbows.
Even when I was not blogging regularly, I still tried to post at least one picture a day to my flickr. It just brought me so much satisfaction. I guess you can call it my addiction. I almost feel incomplete without it.
Especially now that I don’t really consider myself “playing” SL anymore. I only logon to take my pictures and take care of my work because that’s what gives me joy. Although I don’t mind chatting with people; however socializing, partying and interacting with others (unless it’s work related) is not something that I’m interested in at the moment. Not in SL anyways. I’m sure that’ll change overtime as I remember my first year in SL I was quite the party animal. I guess with age I’ve started to be more reserved and protective of my time on there.
Anyhow, I digress. I do feel less cranky today since the talented Ms. Caroline Apollo was a sweetheart and took a pic of me last night so I can play a bit in photoshop.
When she rezzed on my platform she said I was a very handsome boy. LOL I do admit to liking this new boy skin I got a lot. It’s from DNA Cloning Facility and this one is called Legacy. I have another one by the name of Harmony which is just as sexy and I’ll be blogging it in a day or two, so you’ll be seeing it soon. But I suggest y’all head down to DNA right now and try on some demos because the skins are quite nice.
I’ll try and be more cheery until my video card comes back, but just in case I’m all grumpy again on plurk, I apologize ahead of time! :P <3

This week’s Blogger challenge is: Content Creator Appreciation
Blog about a content creator that does something a little extra that you wish other content creators did as well. It can be anything from those designers that take the time to do extra layers or anything else that you feel helps you out in your slife.
Please remember to link to your blogger challenge posts in the comments below so I don’t miss them and thanks ahead of time for participating! You can look up any previous challenges on this page and do them at anytime. <3
My pick this week is Rogan Diesel of Diesel Works. I really appreciate the fact that he ALWAYS places a pose stand in all his individual pose releases. His pose stand is slim, sleek and scripted. When you click it, a menu pops up where you have options to rotate, hide/show the stand and also change through all the poses in that release. It’s great for lazy asses like me that never get around to updating her pose stand every time she gets new poses. It also helps to remember which pose I used when I just rez the stand in that folder. I know I only used the poses from that store and that release therefore remembering to credit it in my posts.
He just released these awesome mens poses this weekend and we used the stand that came with them to shoot these pics. It was quick and easy, so thank you Mr. Diesel for that extra effort, it’s much appreciated!

Also a big thank you to Mr. Catero Revolution for taking me on a shopping spree to Kari and posing with me for the pics. Since he’s sharing this blog post with me, he’d like to say a few words about the clothes we are wearing…which are from Kari!
Back in July 2008, after much encouragement and prodding, Dutch sculpty guru Menno Ophelia quietly opened his store, Kari, without much adoo.
Kari is a haven for comfortable casuals. With gently worn texturing, Menno has created a collection of canvas shoes, belts, hats, tees, posed objects and other funkdafied accessories that are must-haves.
For a limited time only, all items in-store are L$50!
Considering the craftmanship it’s a total steal.
Proceeds from the sale will go towards the medical costs of Menno’s real life friend who is undergoing treatment.
The sale is also a precursor to the relaunch of Kari.
See Menno’s sale notification @ http://www.plurk.com/p/8goset.
