About a year ago is when I had my Last Call yard sale. Since then, every once in a while, I get asked where to buy more Last Call items. So when I heard about this wonderful charity event that JM Models was having, I knew I just had to tell y’all about it.

Over three years ago, Second Life lost one of the most talented and prolific designers that our virtual community has ever known – Ginny Talamasca. Ginny was one of the first established and well-known fashion designers in SL. Her death was an immense loss, however, her legacy carries on with beautifully and thoughtfully created ensembles, which have become collectors items in subsequent years. The true genius of Ginny’s creations is that … they’re still in style! <3

Now, the SL community once again has a chance to enjoy the genius of Ginny's designs while donating to a good cause. For more information please read the press release below.

Last Call Charity Runway Show and Live Auction
Saturday 11 December, 2010
Starts at 6PM slt and goes till all dresses are auctioned off
Location: JM Models Fashion House

ABOUT:
Kate Stockholm and CheerCoach4EJS Gymnast (the masterminds behind this event) have rallied many generous people in Second Life to donate their LAST CALL outfits (created by the late and great Ginny Talamasca) to benefit the Toys for Tots Charity. These outfits feature high resolution texturing that was cutting edge for the time they where created and to this day still remain timeless and well made.

These outfits are no longer available to buy in Second Life so they are as rare as diamonds and before *Last Call* closed their doors, all outfits were made no-copy, no mod but transferrable.

The management and models at JM Models Modeling Agency is supporting this mammoth event and in the spirit of giving have organised a SHOW and LIVE AUCTION where bidding is open to anyone wanting to support this great charity as well as buy a gorgeous rare outfit. ALL Linden donations are welcome even if you’re not bidding for an outfit.

We anticipate this show will last for a few hours as we aim to auction off every outfit. Outfits not sold at the live auction will be placed on auction boards at the JM Models sim so people can come and bid on them at their own leisure – bidding closes Sunday 12th Dec midnight.

Holiday greetings! Yes, it’s the time of year where we add some weight to our stomachs and lose some in our wallets. I’ve been feeling unusually festive this year, and decided to theme out my SL© home for the holidays. While taking breaks, I did a bit of clothes shopping and picked up some seasonally appropriate items. Just a very simple, casual look that may give you more of that “winter” feel. Enjoy

By the way, that snowman was a total ham. Seemed like no matter where I tried to set up a shot, he would nudge his way into the frame. Now I’m no bigot, many of my closest friends are snow-people, but this guy was a lazy, good for nothing, attention whore.

This week’s challenge is blogging about what you love about Second Life. Is it something in your inventory? A person? A feeling? What makes you log back into Second Life everyday?

I love my alts and I love getting them naked and posing them in scandalous positions. hmmmm ok so maybe that’s more lust. :P

What I *really* love about Second Life is I can be any shape or form I desire and do as I please. I love the freedom. It gives me the ability to go wild with my imagination and put that energy towards creating something that I can be proud of or at least entertained with for a short period of time.

And of course, I also love the people that I have met in my Second Life. The relationships that have blossomed and the inspiration and love I have received in return.

Oh and I also love cybersex…just sayin. :P

I’ve known Berry for nearly two years, and every day I am still in awe of what a wonderful person she is. Through good times and bad, she’s always been there for me.
