A Little bit of Attitude

Catwa

Catwa has released a new mesh head yesterday by the name of Gwen and I feel it has quite a bit of attitude. I also feel it looks quite different from her previous releases. One thing to note about Gwen’s release is if you read her flickr, she states that she has released an incomplete early version of this head. That means that this head has been released without the full 8 expressions and gestures that her heads usually come with. However, in March, there will be a free update to this head and you will then get all of expressions and gestures.

I’m wearing the head with two different skins, that weren’t made for this particular head, but I think work quite well with it. In the first image I am wear the Alessa applier from Glam Affair, currently available at Kustom 9. This applier was made for Catwa heads, before this head was released, so I am assuming she made it for either Jessica or Annie, but as you can see in the first image, it looks very beautiful with the new Gwen head. I also have raw shots in my plurk with this applier on the Gwen head.

In the second image I am wearing the Maggie applier from Deetalez, which was also released before Gwen was so I am again assuming it was made for Annie or Jessica. But it looks so incredibly sexy and full of attitude with Gwen as you can see from the image and video below.

LeLutka

LeLutka has released another series of their infamous swift hair that moves on its own. To show the details of that along with the new catwa head, I made a little video I’m attaching below.

Rowne

Finally, I want to talk a little bit about Rowne. Rowne has got to be one of my most favorite designers on the grid as all of their items are so incredibly stylish and sophisticated. Both of the outfits I am wearing in this post are from Rowne. One thing I do want to note though that Rowne only makes outfits in standard mesh sizes, therefore it was impossible for me to wear that first dress with my Maitreya mesh body. It just wouldn’t work because of the slit. So I actually just took my body off and wore the medium size with the default SL body. I didn’t mind doing that at all as I feel that dress is definitely worth it.

The jumpsuit I’m wearing in the second image I was able to wear with my Maitreya body and just using the alpha hud. I’m wearing the medium standard size again with that and it fit perfectly with my Maitreya body.

Rowne also makes a lot of their items in the color Oxblood. It’s just so rich and bold, definitely one of my favorites. Both of these items were released for their new Jeune line, which you can check out at their mainstore.

The background you see in the images and video today is also from Rowne. For this month’s Arcade, Rowne has created a series of Photogenic Walls which are just backdrops from various parts of the word. They are not flat walls either, they have some props like the chairs behind me and there is also the beautiful Montmartre stairs from Paris. Each wall is completely different and will help to make you look well traveled in your Second Life pictures. They are currently available at the Arcade until the end of December.

2016 Elections

I am sure this weekend you are probably very busy with your last minute shopping and festivities for Christmas, but I did want to remind you guys, especially the Americans, that tonight is the 3rd Democratic Debate so if you get the chance, don’t forget to watch. Also, if you still need to register to vote, make sure to do so soon, primaries start in February!

  • I love Gwen head, she looks really different and I’m in love with her bunny teeth 😀 She reminds me a tender mix of Laetitia Casta and a little Monica Belucci. Can’t wait to see all her emotions.
Lelutka’s idea of swish hair is great, so natural look. Thanks for the great post, pic are woot 🙂 Hugs <3

  • I sure wish Maitreya would make an alpha that would allow side slits and asymmetrical designs, because I have so many designs like that.

That hair is amazing (as you showed in the video-thanks). Things always moving forward in SL.
And Jolie…I agree, same here. Either Maitreya updates our alpha or the other designers could do something with omega. Sometimes the ML alpha can work with one side split but then looks awful when walking and you see ‘invisible leg’.

Thanks for that great video. Gwen is cute, surely, and that hair is pretty amazing.
