Inspiration Recreation

love me like you do

Arora Zanzibar has been running a blogger/photography challenge so I thought I’d tell you guys about it. I think blog or photography challenges and contests are a great way to find inspiration to create or write on your own. For her challenge every month she shares a series of real world images and asks you guys to recreate the images in Second Life.

I haven’t done this challenge, mainly because I am not very good at recreating images from the real world. I do get inspired by real world images, but when I try to make something similar in Second Life, it never really turns out looking like the original. Take today’s blog image, I got inspired by this image on my pinterest by Olga Polozova and decided to see if I can make something like that inworld. It doesn’t even come close to it, lol. But that’s ok, because it was just a thought that was placed in my head and then I ran with it and did it my own way and had fun whilst doing so…so I guess that’s all that really matters.

If you are looking for some more inspiration, definitely check out Arora’s Inspiration Recreation Challenge.

Also, I’m kind of addicted to this song at the moment.

  • I did one and it was such fun! I’m still working on a second one – not sure quite what my angle will be.

Thank you so much for the mention Berry *hugs*

  • mmmm…that SONG! Sigh……….

Mireille tries to breathe and when she can, goes back to her reply:

That photo challenge sounds intriguing. I don’t know how well (or poorly – ha!) I’ll do with it, but I’m in! Now, all I have to do is convince Aeon to hold still when I get a good angle for the shot. (That won’t be too difficult. Maybe.)

Thank you, Berry! And again, thank you for your part in that wonderful photography show for Designing Worlds. It was wonderful. ♥

  • Thank you guys for dropping by and for the lovely comments. <3
