I don’t know if any of you have a group of friends who you play games with, but I do. My group of friends consists mainly of my girlfriend Bethany, her RL friends Ray and Destiny and SL buddies Phemie and Garrett. We play games like Tera, to Minecraft, but today we decided to contribute to the internet phenomenon known as HARLEM SHAKE.
Second Life is a brilliant place for creativity and expression. We all know this, and sadly sometimes the outside world doesn’t. But here I am, humping the thin air wearing a stormtrooper mask, surrounded by individuals with some sense of individualism that can be overlooked in this game, because all that second life is, is individualism. I’m humping the air but at the same time I’m bloody loving it, and the angry person with the troll face behind me, and even the horse, is loving it too. Something inside me wants to facebook this shit to my friends, but I know half of them will be like “WTF IS THIS SECOND LIFE SHIT?” … so therefore I don’t, but thats ok, because not everyone I know understands the virtual world and it’s attractions.
My main point is NOT that Second Life is what you want it to be, it’s NOT that people on the ‘outside’ don’t understand us and will never appreciate… rather it’s that we know how to have fun, in our study rooms, in our bedrooms and in our computer rooms… where our friends join us to do stupid things, pointless meaningless things, together. Friends we might only see once a year, once a millennium…who knows…
… Let us not forget the limits of Second Life, let us embrace the limits it challenges us with, and dare to overcome them.
I have had too much wine, so I’m going now to pass out. Have a merry bloody evening everyone xxx

It was about time I went and got a new skin and I decided on the new one by Fruk, the one they named Bennett, and I’m very happy with it. As you can see… so is she. ;D
That’s it really, the only other thing I wanted to mention has vanished from my memory so you’ll just have to go without. I’m sure it was a very wise, profound and interesting statement about fashion, life, love or comic books… one of those things.

Anyway, it’s bloody freezing outside, even in America, which as we know is the hottest place on earth. So it came as a delight when I found these wonderful FATEwear gloves and scarf. Extra large just about covered up my mesh Kal Rau jacket, but thats the nature of mesh, I did photoshop out part of my shirt sticking through so dont be dis-heartened if that happens. And of course, my all time favourite pair of trainers, the low top Porn Stars… been rocking those for years, still got it.
Not much more to say, have a lovely Christmas if you celebrate, and if you don’t celebrate well have a lovely Christmas anyway because I’m celebrating it, along with a bottle of baileys and smoked salmon. Fingers crossed for my pony.
(the socks, which are barely noticeable but worth mentioning, are the jeans cuffs from a pair of NSD chinos, that I shrunk and placed correctly to resemble socks. It’s easier and looks better than the texture layer socks you might otherwise use.)

It was about time I posted something, I have been very lazy of late, and dare I say it – I have not been terribly original with this outfit but, when I saw the jacket, I wanted it. This is pretty much how I dress in real life, love a pair of black jeans with turn ups. It’s pretty much the classic vintage look, which all seemed to fall together rather easily. Can’t go wrong with black and brown, as long as you balance it right.
I was pretty excited to play with shadows for the first time as I fixed my monster of a PC and it all runs smoothly and everything looks pretty smashing. Looking forward to experimenting with, more so than I have done here. I should stop putting my work down shouldn’t I. Yes Akami, stop that now.
