Before I begin unboxing this month’s Powder Pack Catwa, I just wanted to mention that last month (July 2017) I was away on vacation and didn’t get a chance to blog my unboxing but when I got back I opened it up and tried on a few things and was really happy with it. The skin I’m wearing in the video before I started unboxing this month’s is from Pink Fuel which was from the July edition of Powder Pack Catwa. Let me know how you guys liked the July 2017 edition too!
Today I am unboxing the August 2017 edition of Powder Pack Catwa! Powder Pack is a subscription box for makeup lovers. Each month on the 17th you will receive makeup appliers for Catwa mesh heads from 12 talented designers. The cost of the subscription box is L$1500 and you can pick it up from the Powder Pack headquarters or their marketplace store before the 17th. After the 17th it is double the price.
Here is a full list of the 12 designers participating this month:
I do want to point out one thing in the video and also apologize because when I was trying on the Studio Exposure eyeshadows in the video, I didn’t realize that I didn’t have my blend slider in the Catwa HUD on the maximum setting so because of that the shadows didn’t look as opaque and rich in the video as they should have. I am wearing the shadow in the first image in this post though so you can see how much richer it is than what it looked like in the video.
Although I’d like to unbox all the subscription boxes being released in Second Life right now, it’s hard for me to keep up so click over to my Second Life Subscription Boxes blog post which has a full list of all of them and also links to vloggers that unbox them.

Skin & Makeup is from Powder Pack Catwa August 2017 (see video for details)

Some of Catwa’s previous female bento heads that I’ve blogged in the past were: Koura, Kathy, Lona, Lilo, Kimberly, and of course Catya. Here is some information about Tala: Price: The price of this head […] Continue reading →
Hi everyone! Before I get into the unboxing post, I just want to mention that I recently purchased a new microphone (that takes up way too much room on my table) to improve the sound quality in my videos. From today I will be using my new microphone, which is a Blue Yeti, in all […] Continue reading →

Genesis Lab has released another new mesh head named Charly. I admit, I’m not a big fan of Charly, but I wanted to feature another Genesis Lab head since I haven’t blogged them as often. (click here for a raw shot) Catwa Clip has updated all of her premium and basic mesh heads and I’ve talked about those changes in a video I am embedding below. (click here for a raw shot) Genesis Lab has released a mesh head at Shiny Shabby this month and I really feel like it fits me well. I adore the big, beautiful eyes and love the side profile as well because the nose is a much more prominent one in comparison with other mesh heads. The designer based it […] Continue reading →

This may be one of the most embarrassing and crazy blog posts I’ve ever done. But hey, I have never claimed to be completely sane! If you follow me on Twitter or Plurk, I am sure you are well aware that I am a huge Bernie Sanders fan and I will be voting for him. […] Continue reading →
I happened to have stumbled upon this gorgeous ring on marketplace and so I asked my plurk friends which one of them would propose to me with it. Obviously I was joking, but I was thinking perhaps in the future I’d pick it up for myself because I really do love rings and in the ad […] Continue reading →
