  If I an being 100% honest. What I want most is a cure for Alzheimer’s. Day in and day out I have to stand here and watch the man who raised me, lose his mind. Lose himself and there is nothing he or I or anyone can do about it. I’ve just had to put him in a nursing home because his care is beyond my means and I feel sick about having to do so. Every time we call him he asks when is he coming home. Sunday the 9th my brothers, Mom and I are going to tell him he is never coming home. Just the other day he forgot he had children and couldn’t remember our names. While on the phone with my mom his wife of 38 years he thought it was his mother and told her “I’m getting married and bring my lady to meet you” The last 40ish years have been almost completely wiped from his memory because of this terrible disease. I know this is not the place for this but you asked and I couldn’t stop it just all came out.
