I’m feeling so erratic
This Friday, August 31st, the talented Erratic Rain is participating in Fifty Linden Friday with this gorgeous top made for different mesh bodies. For many years Erratic has been exclusively creating all her content for Maitreya Lara. She wants to branch out and create for other bodies as well, she’s just not sure which ones. So tomorrow she is selling this top in a fatpack of 16 colors for only L$50 per body. She says on her flickr that she’s going to see which bodies sell the most and make her decision on which ones to focus on after that. These are the bodies she’s made this top for:

I think she will find that Maitreya Lara will be the majority by a landslide.
Especially as its known thats who she has created for so far, it will take time to get the message out, but what a great way to do it.
I’ve been an Erratic customer since before she started rigging for Maitreya, and although I own a lot of her Maitreya clothes, I don’t buy as much now because Belleza Isis is my preferred body.
When I read about her possibly creating for other bodies, I got excited and thought ‘finally!’, but to be honest, her poll method seems to me a quite inaccurate, if not shady, because I don’t like this one top in particular, so … am I supposed to waste L$50 just to vote for the Isis body? Even if it is very little money, it just seems to me that this is a questionable marketing strategy to sell something people wouldn’t buy otherwise. If she really wanted to know which bodies people wear the most, then she should do a survey, like most SL designers do when they want to figure out this same issue.

Has she released any sales data? I’ve switched to Belleza Freya (which I LOVE), but I sure miss all my Erratic separates and swimwear. My very favorite denim shorts are from Erratic and I’m not able to wear it with my Freya body. 🙁
