Glam Affair Updates
It’s no secret that Glam Affair is one of my most favorite skin stores. Last month they completely revamped their sim and released a whole bunch of new skin appliers for Genus, LeLutka and Catwa mesh heads. They have also released 12 new body appliers with new skin tones for the Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink mesh bodies. Each body applier HUD now includes the following options: normal, small breasts, cleavage and each of them also comes in a freckled version. All new Glam Affair releases from now on will come in these new skin tones.
Reading Glam Affair’s flickr, I found out that the beautiful mainstore build was created by Thora Charron of LeLutka, and the incredible landscaping was done by Shocking Wonder. You can also find Tableau Vivant‘s mainstore on the same sim.
Today I wanted to take you on a quick tour of the sim so you can see all of the changes. I am also going to take you to their satellite store where they have majority of their older skin appliers, including their matching older body appliers, for a variety of mesh heads. The reason I wanted to show you guys her satellite store is that I often get people asking me where the skins are from when I blog them after the events are over so this way you’ll know where to look for her older skins.

I love glam affair skins but I found her customer service to be awful. I had an issue with a skin I bought at the March round of C88 and after numerous conversations with Mavi Beck including where she verified my issue I gave up and consigned the skin to the bin as I can’t wear it. I have tried numerous re-deliveries to see if the skin was fixed but no joy. I haven’t bought a new skin since as I can’t afford to waste my money on something that might be worthless.
You didn’t address my main question in regards to the new skin tones. Is Maitreya going to add these tones to the body HUD? I’d rather not have to go buy new body appliers, and I’ve not heard anything about the Lara HUD being updated. Thanks!
I’m like Anon….I loved her skins and when I went through SL pregnancy last year with an ex, we got the belly bump from Apple May. I bought the belly bump appliers from Glam Affair and there was a big white spot on the side. It didn’t matter what my shape was or how big or little I was, I couldn’t get rid of it…so I sent in a CSR request for help with it as I wasn’t sure if I was doing something wrong with it…NEVER heard back. I spent close to 1000L on both the body applier and the baby bump applier plus a new face skin that I loved and it was wasted…I don’t wear her skins anymore. I went with Amara Beauty because her skins are amazing and her CSR service is so much better…It’s sad that I had to do that cuz I loved the Glam Affair skin…:(
