Happy International Women’s Day!
I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Internation Women’s Day! This past year we have seen many women speak up on issues that we have kept silent about for too long. That’s why this year the campaign theme for International Women’s Day is #PressForProgress and I couldn’t be happier with that. Take a moment today to take action, donate, support and celebrate the achievements of women everywhere!
Since it is International Women’s Day, I wanted to celebrate a female content creator that has been doing some amazing work in Second Life for so many years and I feel like I just don’t get the opportunity to blog her as much as I would like. Sabina Gully of Magika has hands down some of the most beautifully styled and textured hair on the grid. Recently she did a major texture update and changed the way she sells her hair so I wanted to give you a quick overview of that.

She has completely changed all her textures and has put all 105 colors in a single fatpack for L$369. You can pick up a free DEMO of the hair style I’m wearing in this post and try all of the 105 colors. You’ll notice her colors have such variety and her textures are so soft and radiant.

Happy Women’s day! (a bit late)
I didn’t find many events or related things in SL, perhaps because the US doesn’t support it so much (and to think that the fist Women Day was held in New York!), while in Europe there is a stronger tradition in East Europe and in Italy, but also in Portugal/Brasil. Indeed, in some Italian places and clubs in SL you could find traditional mimosas (the yellow flowers) and some party for women.
