SpaceX Falcon Heavy Rocket Launch Party in Sansar
I thought I’d give a little update on what’s going on in Sansar as I’ve been streaming from there a lot recently.
SpaceX Falcon Rocket Launch Parties
Last week SpaceX launched their Falcon 9 Rocket and many lindens and residents of Sansar got together at the NASA Apollo Space Museum in Sansar by LOOT Interactive and had a little launch party there, which I streamed to my YouTube channel.
Today SpaceX will be launching their Falcon Heavy Rocket, which is extra special for a few reasons:
- It will be the most powerful operational rocket system in the world.
- It is actually three separate rockets strapped together, which makes the complexity incredibly high, to ensure they don’t rip apart from each other. Also, all three are going to return for reuse on their own after the launch.
- This launch is going to carry Elon Musk’s personal Tesla Roadster on a trajectory that will put it into an orbit around the sun that will also bring it close to Mars. It’s kind of like a romantic whimsy, imagining this roadster flying through space forever.
Just like last week, there will be a launch party in Sansar once again at 10:15am PST at the NASA Apollo Space Museum by LOOT Interactive. I will be live streaming it again as well, feel free to join us either in Sansar or on the stream if you are not able to watch it in the real world. Here are the links:
UPDATE: Please note that SpaceX has changed launch time, keep an eye on their twitter for the latest timings. Right now it is at 12:45pm PST. Sansar launch party & my stream will start 15 minutes prior to the final time, once it’s settled.

Sansar Find & Connect Release
On February 2, 2018, there was a new update to Sansar and a lot of new features were added to the client. You can see a full list of all the updates in the Sansar News and Announcements section on their site. One of my favorite updates is of course the Find Popular Experiences update which has added a new indicator on the upper left side of all the experiences listed in the Atlas to let us know which places currently have people roaming around in them.
Another feature that I recently subscribed to was Sansar Status. I entered my email to subscribe to updates so I get notices of updates and events going on in Sansar. You can subscribe too if you’d like to keep informed.
Another way to keep up with Sansar news is of course join their Discord server. You’ll also get the opportunity to chat with the many other Sansar creators there. If you are not familiar with Discord, I did a tutorial on it last year.
Atlas-Hopping in Sansar with Berry and Drax
Atlas-hopping is going strong each week. Every Saturday at 11am PST, Draxtor Despres and I explore different experiences in Sansar and recently we’ve been playing a lot of games as well. I wasn’t there last Saturday as my husband and I went away for the weekend to celebrate our first anniversary, but I will be there this coming Saturday! This coming Saturday Drax and I will be fighting it out for different prizes and apparently a lot of fun activities are in store! Hope you can join us either in Sansar or via live stream. Second Life Exploring
Of course I can’t resist mentioning my exploring escapades in Second Life these days as well. Since I started exploring for my #SecondLifeChallenge this week at 4am SLT, I’ve been having so much fun that I think I’m going to stream a different location from Second Life at 4am SLT at least a couple of times a week from now on. It’s a great and peaceful time for me to explore and stream before I start my work in the morning so hopefully I intend to keep it up.
