#SecondLifeChallenge – Winter in Second Life

This week’s #SecondLifeChallenge will be the final one for this year since the holidays are approaching and I’m sure we’ll all be very busy. I hope to pick up the challenges again in the new year.

Here are the instructions for the #SecondLifeChallenge this week: Share a picture or video of a winter scene in Second Life. Tell us a bit about the location and/or what you are wearing. Don’t forget to leave a link to your post in the comments! 

You don’t have to take a picture of your avatar for this, you can just do a landscape picture of your favorite winter sim and tell us a bit about it. I am hoping this challenge will get us to share some beautiful wintery locations in SL as well as some pretty winter clothing.

I have to admit, it took me a while to find a winter coat, which was a new release, that I liked enough to blog, other than the one I blogged yesterday. I was about to give up on this challenge or just do a scenic landscape image until I decided to check out PocketGacha this month and I fell in love with this ensemble from Belle Epoque. I feel so luxurious wearing it.

I decided to shoot on the Oh Deer sim again, I recently used it for another post, because I feel it’s so beautifully done and the upscale shopping area went well with my look. I also love the fact that they let you rez on the sim for a short period of time, which was just enough for a picture and video, so I rezzed the glitter tree beside me available from Mesh India, also from PocketGacha.

I’ve done a detailed video and post about PocketGacha when they first started a few months ago but I’ve also given some details about it again in today’s video. Check it out on YouTube:

You don’t have to have a blog to do this challenge, you can do it on any social media platform or vlog on youtube. Just don’t forget to tag your post with #SecondLifeChallenge and then leave the link to your post in the comments of this post.
