#ForMax Event

Maxwell Graf is an incredibly talented and generous artist who has been creating in Second Life for many years and amazing us with his work in Sansar recently as well. His store in Second Life is called Rustica and has been open for over a decade. He is going through some real life difficulties which he shared in his plurk at this link, and he asked if we liked his work if we can support him by just going to his store and purchasing something, so I did just that last week.

Then a few of his fellow creator friends got together and setup an event where even more creators volunteered to participate and a lot of them are giving 100% of the proceeds of the items to Max. I love how our Second Life community is so incredibly generous and supportive of each other.

I’ve done a little video of the #ForMax event showing the amazing items for sale there so even if you don’t know Max, you may want to visit to check out the items.

I also wanted to quickly say that my heart goes out to my fellow Americans in Las Vegas and to all those suffering and hurting around the world. Even though at times this world seems so cruel and crazy, it’s events like #ForMax or seeing all those that lined up to donate blood that makes me realize that there is definitely a lot more good in this world that counters all of that.
