Genesis Lab Ariana Bento Mesh Head
Genesis Lab has released another female Bento head and her name is Ariana. Their previous bento heads that I’ve blogged are: Eva, Lena, Jane, Sofie, Flor, Stephanie and their male head Ethan.
Here is some information about Ariana:
- Price: Ariana is a rare in a gacha so to purchase her you will need to play the gacha continuously until you win her. Each gacha pull is L$100 and there is a free DEMO. It is currently available at the Arcade Gacha Events until September 30th and after that it will be available at the Genesis Lab mainstore. The head comes as a white skinless version, as shown on the top left of this image.
- Skin Appliers: Since the head comes skin-less you need to purchase some skin appliers for it. The Genesis Lab Ariana skin appliers are also in the same gacha but are not rares.
- Body Appliers: They have body appliers with 10 skin tones and 3 cleavage options which are available for Maitreya, SLink, Belleza, Vista Hands and default body. All costs L$250 each, in the Genesis Lab mainstore.
- Omega Compatibility: According to the Omega Solutions Blog, Genesis Lab heads that are gacha are not Omega compatible. However, this head comes with an omega version in the folder so it is Omega compatible.
- Body Parts: It comes with rigged ears and eyes which you need to wear or wear your own in their place. It also comes with rigged teeth and lacrimal caruncle attachments.
- Main HUD: The mesh head comes with three HUDs. The first is the main settings HUD that has three tabs on it:
- Genetic Tab: In this tab you can change the color of your eyes, eyelash length and color, ear color, teeth and tongue, beauty marks and freckles and hairbase.
- Makeup Tab: in this tab you have a wide variety of makeup to choose from: eyeshadows, eyeliners, blush and contour and lipstick.
- Settings Tab: In this tab you have neck fit, teeth and tongue accessories, and skin shine.
- Basic Animation HUD: The second HUD comes with 12 basic animations, 8 static eye & lip poses, eyes rotation and blinking and talking options.
- Typer HUD: The third HUD is a typer HUD that you just attach so when you type, your lips will move.

The way I understand it, these heads are only Omega compatible for the makeup layer only, so it’s not fully compatible. You have to buy the skin through them or luck out and find somebody who does Genesis lab appliers. It’s a shame, because these heads have really improved a lot over time but I don’t want to look like a clone with the same skin as everyone else. At least with the other brands you can mix and match the skins and tattoos to make a different look. I am currently using a skin made for Logo on my Lelutka head and if I wanted to blend in another skin on the tattoo layer I could make some really interesting results. You can’t do that with Genesis. Add in the fact that it’s a gacha, and I am really not inclined to try. But hey, who knows, maybe you would win one without a crazy investment.
Can you do a walk through of the new Catwa Animation HUD [C] like you did for HUD [B]? There are certain things that confuse me about it, such as the Full Face AO not having any labels tell you what each icon represents.
Crystalle, you are correct, Genesis Lab heads are only omega compatible for the cosmetic layer, not the skin itself. I’ll make sure to update that in this post.
Hello Colton, I haven’t had a chance to look at it as of yet but I’ll see if I can. I did speak to Catwa and she said it is easier to install animations on this HUD because they come with installers now, but i’ll take a look and see.
