Altamura Alvin Bento Mesh Head

Altamura has also released another bento mesh head and this time it’s a male head. Their first Bento head was named Aggie and they released her in November. Then in February they released their first male bento head named Aaron. Then in March they released their second female bento head named Monique and then last month in April they released their second male bento head and his name is Alvin.

I’ve done a little video about Alvin, which I am embedding below, but first here are some details about it:

• Price: The price of the head is L$3499 and it can be found in the Altamura mainstore and in their marketplace store. The DEMO is free in their marketplace store.
• HUDS: It comes with one main HUD that has animations, skin tones and makeup layers and appliers sections along with an option to change the color using rgb values for any of the tones and appliers. Then there is one smaller HUD, for skins and makeup.
• Skins: It comes with four skin tones. The skin tones also have a no eyebrow option.
• Animations: It does come with a few animations which are always visible on the left side of the main HUD. I’ve shown how they look in the video below.
• Other options: It also comes with a few other options such as the ability to turn the ears invisible as well as being able to change your neck size.
• Mesh Body Appliers: Altamura has their own male mesh body named Dante and this head comes with body appliers that will work on this Altamura body. They also sell Omega body appliers with the four skin tones that will match the head, so you can use it on your mesh body of choice. In this post I used the omega body appliers on my Signature mesh body.
• Omega compatible: This head is also omega compatible, and using this omega relay HUD, I was able to apply Omega appliers to this head.
• Developer Kit: There is no developer kit for this head as of yet.
• Customer Service Questions: If you have any questions about this head, it would be best if you looked at the designer’s profile, her name is Rumegusc Altamura, to see how she prefers to be contacted for customer service issues as I will probably not be able to assist you with that.
• UPDATE: Voice triggered lip movement: One thing I forgot to mention in the video, if you activate the blabla gesture in the folder of this head and then you turn voice on inworld, it will trigger the lips and they will animate whenever you talk. I made a little gif of that at this link so you can see what it looks like.

I feel this is a very rugged and unique-looking head. It’s not one I would wear on myself but I think it will be well-liked by many.

Aside from this head, Altamura has also released a new female mesh body that comes attached with a head. The body is called Aggie and the head does not separate from it but the head is bento and the whole body will also be bento soon as there will be a free upgrade to bento hands as well.
