Akeruka Valerie Bento Mesh Head

Akeruka has probably released the most amount of bento heads to the grid now. I have blogged quite a number of them already, which you can find in my Akeruka tag on my blog.

Their latest release is Valerie and she is available at Skin fair right now. I have done a video explaining all the details about this head, applying some different skins on it and playing with the sliders but first, here is some information about the head:

• Price: The price of this head is L$2999 and it is currently available at the Skin Fair from March 10th till the 26th. After the 26th is will be available at the Akeruka mainstore.
• Omega Compatibility: This head is omega compatible, as are all the other Akeruka mesh heads. You can pick up the omega relay hud for Akeruka on marketplace.
• Main HUD includes: The ability to minimize the main HUD, 10 skin tones, more layers, tinting, blending and specular on almost all layers, eye animation and 3 new lip animations on main HUD, you can also now hide your teeth and parts of your skull to fit hair better, cosmetics and more.
• Basic HUD: It comes with a basic HUD that has 3 static eye poses and 3 static mouth poses.
• Expression HUD Addon: There will be an expression HUD addon for this head, that will be released soon.
• Customer Service Questions: If you have any questions about this head, it would be best if you looked at the designer’s profile, his name is Kaoz Koba, to see how he prefers to be contacted for customer service issues as I will probably not be able to assist you with that.

I really like this head with the Al Vulo skin quite a bit. I have made a shape for this head which I will put in my marketplace store very soon. Once I have it up there, I will link to it from this post.

The stunning dress that I’m wearing today is part of the Rowne Winter Collection that was released about a month ago. I was planning to do a video about it because the collection is so incredibly stylish and beautiful, however I had several issues with a lot of the garments so I decided against it. My issues were mainly in fitting, for some reason a lot of the pants and even the gorgeous bra top glitched when I moved around in them and even if I enabled my alphas. Also all of the sheer garments had that Second Life glitch for me with all the triangles appearing, even in this dress slightly (see screenshot here).

I think both of these issues are my own because the fitting is obviously because of my shape and in Rowne’s video they do not have any of the weird triangle glitches in the sheer garments so it must be my computer doing it. One other slight issue I wanted to point out is that this dress is completely sheer but it does come with a HUD that lets you choose which kinds of undergarments you want underneath the dress. They offer beautiful options (see options screenshot here) however, for some reason, the panty area would glitch and disappear for me because of the alpha from the dress. Not sure why that kept happening and didn’t happen with the bra area, so instead I just put on a mesh thong from Solange and I thought that went well with it, gave it a bit more of a sexier look, but hopefully you guys will get that undergarments layer working.

I highly recommend you guys to head over to the Rowne mainstore and pick up DEMOs of this collection to try it out, it’s amazingly stylish! They even did a fashion show video on their youtube channel, which I am embedding below so you guys can see. Even with all the glitches, this dress is one of my most favorite things on the grid!
