Happy 2nd Anniversary Eclipse Magazine!

ECLIPSE Magazine February 2017 Cover

It was two years ago this month when Eclipse Magazine put me on their cover for their inaugural issue and now two years later, they have put me on their cover again for their 2nd anniversary issue. I feel incredibly honored to be featured and interviewed by them once again. My interview starts on page 44, and I will warn you that it is more personal and political than my previous interviews. A big thank you to Cajsa Lilliehook for the wonderful interview and for putting in words what I have been feeling. Also a big thank you to LessThen Zero for these stunning cover pictures and Tempest Rosca for the beautiful images of mine that are featured inside the magazine, throughout the interview. Thank you Trouble Dethly and the whole Eclipse team for this honor once again.  I am so in love with all of the pictures! <3

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the magazine because they have also featured One Billion Rising, an empowering event which creates awareness for abuse against women. I plan to visit the event on Valentine’s day, hope to see you all there!

  • I only can applaud your persistence for things you believe in and say that you deserve all compliments in the article. Ignorance is the worth thing in the world, no matter what is for.
I believe there will be time people won’t make difference between race, nation, religion etc. We really tired of all that violence and endless cruelty. We need a piece.
Thank you for being not silent <3

  • Sorry for mistake 😀 , “We need a PEACE”

excellent article and interview. The remarks and quote from Karl Popper are well taken. Pointing to the often heard cant from the (Not Dis-)possessed, often using it as a rational for their own ignorance, misogyny, and racism.
    Thanks Berry!

  • I was finally able to catch up on my reading and i got the wonderful pleasure of reading this article. It brought tears to my eyes, for a lot of reasons. It was a brilliant piece on peace…not just peace from war but peace from hatred, intolerance and inequality. It brought tears to my eyes that i may not know you but my fear FOR you and your family rose and nearly choked me. It brought tears to my eyes because you don’t know this but your words and actions directly support and hold up me and MY family (my husband is an FtM transgender and so is my adopted son.) It brought tears to my eyes to know that i live in a town that you, as a Muslim woman would be in the same danger if you visited this town as my husband and son are every day they step out our front door. Yet, you, like they, are resisting that fear and penetrating the darkness of it with your words and your actions. So Thank you and know that in one little neck of the woods your light is lingering and inspiring someone else to stand firmer helping us to take heart in the knowledge that we are not alone in this fight for peace and you’ve got our backs just as we have yours! thank you
