Lash Heaven

Damien Fate released his innovative FATELashes about 3 weeks ago. While I was trying to decide how I could blog them in a way that they really stand out, he decided to update them to v2.0 by adding over 100 new textures. He also did this amazing video (which I’m embedding below) that shows you how easy it is to fit them, not just to the default Second Life head, but to any mesh head as well.

His video shows you how to fit them well and some of the other options they come with like glow, changing length and adjusting alpha.

I still couldn’t figure out if I should do a video or not to show how easy it is to fit them and then use them but I figured since he already showed that in his video, I will show you the textures he has in them so you can see the wide variety of lashes you will have to choose from. I know most mesh heads come with their own lashes but I actually think these lashes work better on mesh heads like LeLutka and Catwa where you can turn off blinking and never have the issue that you sometimes get while wearing the default head and lashes. You blink but the lashes stay in the same spot. So if you wear it with a mesh head that has a blink off feature, these will always look perfect.

As you can see from my video, the first few pages of the textures have very light, natural looking lashes and because you can change the length of any of them, I think these would also be ideal for male avatars.
