LeLutka Expressions

People often ask me about all of the different mesh bodies and heads I’ve talked about on my blog so I have created two categories: Mesh Body and Mesh Head and I will make sure to post all of my detailed posts about these two subjects in their respective categories. This way my posts will be easier to look up. Hope you find that helpful.

Lelutka Expressions

On Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 LeLutka is releasing expressions for all of their current mesh heads, which include: Aria, Ever and Leda as well as Karin, Lotte and Stella. If you already own any of these heads, to get the update you just have to wear the head and it will be automatically sent to you, or you can hit the redelivery terminal at the LeLutka mainstore.

Lelutka Expressions

The HUD is completely updated. It now has a big red button named “express yourself” which you click to open the side expressions menu. From there you have 3 eye settings, 4 eyebrow settings and 7 mouth settings to play with. All of the expressions are interchangeable so you can mix and match to create your own look. For more details about the heads themselves, you can visit the LeLutka blog.

I have been really busy with work in real life that’s why I haven’t had a chance to live stream again. However, these expressions are so much fun to play with that I will try and stream some time this week or early next week and share more photography tips as well as show you how smooth these expressions are inworld.

I’m not one to use expressions often but I did think these ones were very well done, especially the biggest smile which often comes out looking scary with the default head or other mesh heads I’ve seen, but I think this one is quite pretty when you mix and match with the eye and eyebrow settings. My favorite expressions are definitely the slightly squinty eye and the single raised eyebrow.

Also, don’t you think this head/skin/expressions combo kind of looks like Keira Knightley?

UPDATE: Thora Charron did this mix and match of the expressions that I had to share. There are 84 expressions in total!

I bought the ankle lock through you. How do you turn the lock on? The directions are not very clear on that. I have version 2.0 and it talks about turning the lock on but nothing I try works.

I look forward to all your reviews, they help me when I want to make big decisions about my avatar’s appearance. I’m holding off because I love my LAQ skin, and am impatiently waiting for Mallory to create an applier. I’ve bought 6 other skins, and I just don’t feel like myself.

I guess I’m just not as adventurous as you Strawberry!

Quietmoments, you just wear the lock and it will automatically straighten your ankles. If for some reason it doesn’t work, then it is conflicting with another one of your animations, which really shouldn’t happen. I have a version 1 that might work but it may cause problems in other areas. You can IM me inworld and I can send you the other version.

    Thank you everyone!

Ok I fell in love with the Karin head because of your blog but I wanted the shape to be like yours ( as I am sure half of your readers want the same thing) can you suggest any modifications that can help look similar?

Hi Innocence, I’m not sure why mine looks any different, it should look the same, other than whichever skin you decide to use. Only three sliders affect the head, these are the numbers I have for those sliders:
    Head Size – 58
    Head Stretch – 38
    Head Length – 45
Other than that, when I take images, instead of using the mouse to zoom into my face, I use CTRL-0 to zoom in and CTRL-9 to zoom out. That gets rid of the fish-eye effect. Hope that helps!

Yes, definitely Keira Knightley! And I’m so excited to have these expressions! It will be nice to walk around with a smile instead of a pouty face.

Yeah I am not going to get this head either or any. I can’t make my face which I prefer. People have been passing out these images of clones in SL and it looks just like that to me, like any real face wearing different makeup. A mesh head would be awesome if someone made one with new sliders that work like SL ones, since they can’t seem to get it to work with the SL sliders. It would be easy to do though since tons of other pc games have sliders where I have made my face closer.Creating my own look is the best part of SL and why I joined and this mesh head stuff really takes away from that, since I end up looking nothing like me and exactly like everyone else who bought whatever said head I am using.
