Happy Ramadan!

Happy Ramadan!

Today is the first day of the month of fasting for Muslims around the world. This month is called Ramadan and at the end of the month we have a big celebration called Eid. I try to do a Ramadan and Eid image every occassion, you can check them out in my flickr set. I am fasting today. Luckily it hasn’t been too bad so far, just feeling a bit thirsty. I’m going to try and fast the whole month, wish me luck!

I wanted to point out something about the jewelry set I am wearing in the first image. It is from Shi and currently available at Uber. Although you see me wearing two earrings in this image, the set actually only comes with one earring, for the left ear. I am only sharing this because I discovered that after I purchased the set. You can see my plurk about it at this link. Although it looks absolutely gorgeous on the images I shared in that plurk with only one earring, I preferred to wear it on both ears myself so I just copied the left earring and wore it on the right ear at the same time. However, since it is molded to the shape of the ear, and there is no mirrored version, it doesn’t fit well. For me, it’s ok, I don’t mind it. But I thought I would let you guys know in case you prefer to wear it on both ears like I did.

The Empress – contest poster 2 (Image by Apollo Scribe)

I was recently asked by Mr. Apollo Scribe to pose for the Empress poster for his Create your own Tarot event. He also has a contest going on, in case you guys are interested in entering. It is a Photo Contest to design a tarot card, you can find all of the information at this link.

Good luck and Happy Ramadan!
