Black & White

I always struggle with black and white photos so I’m going to try and practice them more often. I feel like in the past I didn’t put enough black into them so I tried to do that more this time but now I think there is too much black lol. I always admire Bear Silvershade‘s black and whites, he does a great job with them.

Maitreya has had a new clothing release made specifically for the Maitreya Lara Mesh body and they have also updated a lot of their older clothing and shoes to fit the Maitreya body. You can see a full list of all the updates in their blog post. The top I’m wearing in this post is fitted mesh and made to fit the body so well. The back is my favorite part of it.

I get a lot of CSR questions on a daily basis from people that are having trouble with appliers and the Maitreya body. Majority of the time these glitches occur because people have worn two appliers at once or on different layers and they are conflicting with each other. There is a free HUD on the marketplace which you can pick up and that will help you remove any and all layers of appliers if you start to see glitching. I hope that helps you out if you have also been struggling with this.

SL Go has added a new payment method if you are interested in signing up, you can now pay with Lindens inworld! If you are not familiar with SL GO, it is a mobile app viewer created and maintained by OnLive (NOT Linden Lab) and it enables you to experience Second Life on your mobile devices. You’ve probably heard of SL Go, the viewer that streams Second Life from the cloud in ultra-rich graphics, right to your tablet or low powered computer. You might have wanted to try it, but hate giving out your credit card info and personal information. Well, we now have a great solution for you!

For a limited time, if you sign up for SL Go with a NEW USER account you can buy weekly subscriptions in-world using Linden Dollars (L$). There is a private sign up booth where you can create your free SL Go account, and then pay for subscriptions using L$. Each week is only L$650, and you can buy up to 4 weeks at a time. Also, you can return and renew or extend your subscription in-world at any time.

Sorry, but existing users with monthly subscriptions will need to wait for this feature. It is much more complex to transition an account from US Dollars to Linden Dollars. We will be bringing this feature to you soon.

Paying for SL Go with L$ has been one of the most common requests we have received in our forums and chat rooms. We are very excited to offer this now to new users. We hope this makes it much easier for you to be a part of our growing SL Go community.
