Events this week

Instead of doing a Friday Find this week, I figured I would cover some recent shopping events you can visit instead.

Exposeur has some of my most favorite pose props on the grid and RubyStarlight Writer has done it once again. For WCF starting march 1st she is releasing the Red Light Showcase prop which comes with 13 single poses and can take up to 3 avatars at a time. All three of the images in my post today were taken in the Red Light Showcase so all of the poses and backgrounds you see in my images are all a part of that showcase.

My shoes will also be available at WCF from Duncan Giano. However the anklets that you see me wearing in the second image are not a part of the shoe, but in fact an accessory from Promagic. I thought both of those items worked well together and fit the SLink high feet perfectly.

I’m wearing my Maitreya body in this post along with the strappy mesh dress from DRBC that I found on marketplace for only L$70! The dress comes in standard sizing but I only had to adjust my sliders slightly and the size medium worked really well with my maitreya body. I also picked up free pasties appliers for my nipples from Mad’ as well as mesh pasties from Ama for L$49. I’m wearing the appliers on my nipples and the mesh ones on my crotch since they covered that area very well. If you’d like to see raw shots of me in this dress, you can check my plurk at this link.

1. Photographer of the Week: Anouk – Anna – She does mainly black and white images and they are absolute perfection. Her work is stylish, artistic and inspiring. Do check it out if you haven’t already.

3. Casting Internet Romances – A casting director posted a casting call on my Facebook page for some tv show. They are looking for people in online relationships. I am not familiar with the company so I’m not sure if this is legit, but I thought I would share the information with you guys in case you are interested. Others have shared stories of casting companies approaching them before so please make sure you read this plurk and do full research about the company and show before you sign yourself up for anything.
4. Linden Lab’s Photo Booth Contest – Ends this Wednesday, March 4th so you only have a few more days left to enter for a chance to win L$10,000. If you have been looking for a Photo Booth to shoot at for this contest, there is one on the WatchTower sim right below the steps of the little cafe. The sim owners also let you rez there so you can rez your own pose stands for the picture.
5. SLink Mesh Major Update – Siddean Munro of SLink has done a major update of her body, hands, feet and heads. If you haven’t done so already, head down to the SLink mainstore and hit the redelivery terminal for all of your updates.
6. the drax files radio hour podcast show #57 focuses on teaching in sl. Drax also released a new world makers video and this time he featured the talented Nylon Pinkney. This is a wonderful episode:
   
7. Buzzfeed Quiz of the Week: What Word Best Describes You? – Interesting because the answer is one thing I feel that I struggle with.
