Movie Character Meme

I was recently watching a movie and then Mr. Jefferson and I started chatting about how much we both loved it so of course I had to get us to dress up as the main characters and turn this into a meme! Can you guess which movie I’m talking about and which characters we are?

Movie Character Meme (Winter Jefferson as Jareth, the Goblin King)

If you haven’t guessed yet, Mr. Jefferson and I decided to dress up as Jareth and Sarah from Labyrinth. I believe I was only 6 years old when I first saw Labyrinth and I recall thinking that Sarah was the most beautiful girl in the world, especially during the ballroom scene. I so wanted to be Sarah…and now I can be!

Labyrinth is a movie that is both mine and Mr. Jefferson’s childhood favorite and while shooting these images we were totally giddy, it was hilarious. Him being Jareth, the Goblin King, we knew we needed to shoot in a lavish place so we headed to Angel Manor. As soon as we saw the room with the throne, we knew we found our spot. So here is our version of the ballroom scene from Labyrinth.

Movie Character Meme (Strawberry Singh as Sarah)

Recently someone tagged me in a plurk that was requesting I do a meme about recreating Mean Girls in SL. So perhaps this movie character meme will give you guys the opportunity to do that. I hope you guys are able to do this meme and have as much fun doing it as Mr. Jefferson and I did!

Please remember that you can participate in any of the memes/challenges at any time. You’ll find them all under my Blog Challenges category along with other memes and challenges I’ve done over the years. You don’t have to have a blog to do this challenge, you can share your image on any social platform you prefer.

A big thank you to Mr. Winter Jefferson for getting all goofy and giddy with me about doing this. Thank you for being my Jareth, love you and Happy Australia Day! <3

UPDATE: On January 10, 2016 David Bowie died of cancer and left us all with a broken heart. I am resharing this post as a tribute to him and his work. Click over Mr. Jefferson’s flickr post for his words.

I just want to post this and then go look at everyone else’s things in the two categories of Movie Character Meme and Inspiration Recreation :)

Will post where I can on everyone else’s work!! Hugs xx
