Sometimes I like being a Redhead
I’m very rarely a redhead, only because I feel as if I can’t really pull it off. Although I do admit, when I first started SL, I was a redhead for the first couple of months. I guess I initially chose that color because I’ve always found redheads to be so incredibly beautiful.
So when a skin is released for Gingers (is that term offensive? I don’t know) I tend to shy away from it. However, there have been a few times where I just couldn’t resist because the skin is just epic. Last year it was from Birdy and this year Glam Affair has stolen my heart. I adore the skin+freckles combination in this Lauren skin. It’s currently available at Collabor88.
The lingerie+corset I’m wearing is from Erratic, currently at Uber. I’m actually wearing the fitted mesh version made specifically for the SLink Physique, it fit perfectly! I can use the sliders to adjust my body without any glitches between the mesh lingerie and mesh body. I hope more designers make lingerie and other clothing items in fitted mesh for SLink Physique as well. To me, it looks SO much better than appliers.
Recently, there has been a challenge going around on flickr to share a pic of your face without any photoshop, enhancements, makeup, lashes, etc… it’s the #SLBareFaceChallenge! So of course I had to participate…any excuse to take another selfie!

Well Berry not sure about the beautiful part but I have always been a redhead in SL as with RL. I venture to another colour now and again but never more than a day.
I never thought about it much till I read this.Odd, I never can feel like I’m me unless both I and my av are redheads.
I might need to lie down on a couch somewhere, lol

Berry, I was lurking around your site to see if you’d ever done a review on Loud Mouth but this post caught my eye. Since the day I logged on SL I’ve been a redhead mainly because I’m a redhead in RL too. I don’t know how to be a brunette or a blonde so I stuck with what I know and what I’m comfortable with. Being a redhead or ginger isn’t just a color – it’s a state of mind especially since there are so few of us in this world. I grew up wishing I had been a blonde and the first chance I get to live a “second life” as one, I still chose to be a redhead. lol
