Happy Eid!

Happy Eid!

This is the last day of Ramadan and tomorrow is Eid for me so I wanted to share an Eid picture. I know some celebrated Eid today and some are celebrating tomorrow, so just wanted to wish everyone a very happy and joyous day, whichever day you celebrate! I hope this year brings lots of happiness and success to us all. To see my previous Ramadan and Eid pictures, click over to my Religious and Cultural Set. <3

The jewelry I’m wearing may look familiar to you. Maxi Gossamer released the necklace and earrings at Fameshed for the month of June. After that, I had requested her to make me a matching headdress for that set to wear in my Journey through India editorial for TREMPE magazine in July. She hadn’t released it yet because she wanted to add a final piece, the nosering.

Now the set is complete and the headdress and nosering will be available at a new event called Uber which starts this Thursday, July 31st. After the event, the whole set will be available at the mainstore. For more information about Uber, follow them on Facebook, Plurk and Flickr.

  • Blessed Eid to you, Berry – and to all who celebrate!
Aeon and I are multinationals and we have lived in many places, which has been a gift. We have many friends in those locales, and even though we have moved to other places, we keep learning about their lives and celebrations. Eid is a cherished one for us, as many warm memories accompany it, and we honour its meaning.

What a beautiful photograph! The richness of colour is glorious. Thank you for posting it and for all you have shared. Whatever you do, may happiness and success be yours. Finishing a post-graduate degree is a wonderful accomplishment, and balancing SL and RL can give us the best of both. We are drawn away too, now, and so our SL time is more precious as it gives us opportunity for expression and relaxation. Here’s to life – in all the worlds there are!
