Heart Song

Since I haven’t been able to do a Friday Find in a few weeks, I decided to take some time this morning to explore Harlow Heslops’s new scenic sim, Heart Song.

It’s a new homestead sim she’s picked up and decorated beautifully. She has also opened it up to the public and I was even able to rez the garden gnomes there, which is quite generous of her.

Heart Song is her “private oasis” that she is sharing with us all so it will only be open to the public for a short period of time. Make sure to take the slurl and check it out soon.

Of course when I went to explore I took some little friends along with me. The priceless fairy companions are part of the Summer Fairy Gacha set available from Anya Ohmai at the Arcade right now.

As I was exploring the sim, I noticed a little vegetable garden so I had to rez out the adorable little Garden Gnomes from Mutresse, also currently available at the Arcade. Each one has so much character, makes you want to collect them all!

Also, there is an announcement from OnLive regarding SL Go, I thought I would share it with you:

OnLive will now be offering new SL Go users a 7-Day Free Trial with sign up for an ‘unlimited access’ subscription package. A valuable piece of feedback from the Second Life community has been that the 20 minute free trial is not sufficient to get a true experience of SL Go. Now new users can try SL Go free for an entire week, experiencing Second Life on their Android tablets or seeing how SL Go can render ultra-high graphics even on a lower powered laptop computer.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this free trial, click over to the SL Go website and sign up.

  • I never thought to try out SLGo on my laptop! I guess the 7 day free trial is enough to tempt me since my laptop can barely handle mid graphics. Not ideal for taking photos really D:
Still keeping my fingers crossed for iOS though! \o/

  • I was at Heart Song not too long ago myself and did a write up as well. Harlow has really created something wonderful and I am grateful it’s being shared with us. 🙂

  • Heart Song is an amazing sim. I know that there isn’t a group for people to rez yet for the sim. So for those reading this comment. You will probably want to message Harlow Heslop in advance about rezzing things on the land. Second which goes out to anyone who uses SLGo I do not see what the point is of this. Waste of an app and waste of your money to use on your tablet. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.0 and I am able to use the firestorm app that is on my computer on it. So I guess it all depends on what tablet. I can say this I will NEVER pay to play Second Life. It’s free to begin with so why pay for an app to let you play?

I have a terrible laptop and I’ve been using SL Go for the last month and it’s allowed me to enjoy the shopping and exploring of some of the most busiest sims. There are downfalls, I’m not able to take a direct snapshot in-world so to do photos, I have to screen shot and you are limited for windlight settings unless you create your own….so if you’re wanting to use it for photos, it might not be a good fit…but it’s nice to see they extended the free trial to give first time users a glimpse of the pros and cons….lovely post as always Berry 🙂

  • I came home from work today and saw this post and it was the best surprise ever! Thanks so much Berry. You showed it off so beautifully! *hugs*

  • Thanks you guys, I’m glad you like the post.

Bethany, thank you for sharing your experience with SL Go. I’m happy to hear that you have had a pleasant experience with it. I have as well. I hope with this free trial people try it out so they can also see how useful SL Go can be.

  • Hi Vicky so sorry to hear about your computer it is awful when they go wrong and especially as you have lost your pictures which can't be replaced. Hope you manage to get it sorted under the warranty. Your card is gorgeous as always and I love the colours you have used and your gorgeous bear. Sarahxx
