• Hey Berry!!

  Hope you are well!! I did have a moment’s panic wondering how I was gonna manage to shoot this one but TG i remembered I had old old shots!

  Here is my little contribution:

• Couple of handy tips for anyone making quick videos in SL. I use the free version of FRAPS to record, and I hit the CTRL + ALT + F1 shortcut to take SL to fullscreen (remove all HUDs and start the dance going first). The free version of FRAPS will record in 30-second bursts and does have a small watermark at the top of the screen, but it’s enough to show a dance preview. F9 is the stop/start key.

  Then, use the (again, free) Handbrake program to reduce the file size. Just select ‘source’ and browse for your file, then under the ‘video’ tab, select ‘constant framerate’ and hit ‘start’. Handbrake will take a 350MB file down to about 3.9MB without any perceivable loss in quality (well, enough for a quick blog preview, anyway).

  Hope that helps. I managed to knock out two quick videos in less than ten minutes doing it that way 🙂

  I spend too much of my time roleplaying in SL to blog, but in the deep-dark forests we dance with spears:

  The dances start about two minutes in and are a mix of tribal, contemporary and fire-fan animations from A&M Mocap Danceworks that somehow turned out to look pretty good while we’re all holding sharp sticks.

• Yas, I had the same problem on laptop. Its because of ur dekstop properties on laptop. Try this and that combination will work :
  rightclick on the desktop – Graphics properties – Advanced mode – ok – Options and Support – uncheck box Enable

• I love to dance, anytime any where but in secondlife its a bit more difficult. One has to have ‘balls’ to dance! Its alright if you join a club or go to a ballroom, they provide the means to dance but I had a lot of trouble finding some sim owner who would let me rez my own dance poses.
