Do you ever feel like you finally have a handle on life and then it goes and takes a new route and you feel completely lost again? I’m having that kind of a week. It’s been a good week though, I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas with all your loved ones as well.

– When talked about Glam Affair. I didn’t notice the Glam Affair side though I just stopped by Tableau Vivant some hours ago. Would love to mention here that Tableau Vivant (by the same creators and I have been a fan for a while) are now giving out free group membership and they are giving out unisex hair as group gift. Must take some time walking around again for Glam Affair too. 🙂
I joined the group for free and received the free gift, which was a skin. But that was in Inworldz. Maybe it’s the same people.
Life has a habit of being interesting like that, if only to fulfil that promissory curse of, “May you live in interesting times”. Hope things work out to the good for you.
The turn of the year is a time for changes anyway, and I don’t just mean the New Year Resolutions so many people make and then abandon when it’s cold and pissing with sleet and jogging to the gym just seems like too much hard work when it’s easier to curl up in front of the fire with a good book and a box of chocolates. 😉
I don’t make resolutions any more; instead I choose one aspect of myself that I want to change/work on/improve over the coming year, and I make that my focus of the year. Last year’s focus was my constant tension and state of spiritual health, and I took up meditation to help with that. That’s still an ongoing thing, and some days are better than others. I’ve decided that I’ve procrastinated for long enough over 2014’s focus, so it’s going to be… procrastination! I’m absolutely terrible for doing that, and I’ll put things off, even when I know they’re good for me.
Change; it keeps us on our toes and makes life an endless curiosity. Embrace it! Best of the season to you and yours, Berry <3
Life always gets a good chuckle when it catches you in the belief that you’re ‘handling it’… and of course it frees itself of such ‘handles’ whenever and however it pleases. You don’t get to ‘handle it’ as much as ‘adapt to it’… so maybe it’s time to shift focus from ‘learn to live’ into ‘live to learn’.
I have to laugh. Every time I think I have it all figured out it changes. I think that IS life! Maybe we figure out one thing, raise our heads to look around and realize – Oops, there’s more!

Hugs for you Berry. Change is uncomfortable while it happens but what makes it okay is how one handles it. You have always seemed to be good at making Strawberry Lemonade from the lemons.
I don’t like glam affair skins. They all look-alike to me. If there are differences it’s very subtle. I prefer theshop & redgrave.
Hi Berry… we used to have a slogan in our dev company, “Change is hard, but isn’t impossible.” So, I suppose you can extend the idea and say, “Dealing with change is hard, but isn’t impossible.” heh
