Topless Tuesday
Even though it’s Wednesday where I live now, it’s still Tuesday in SL time so technically, I can still do this post. Right? Right! I really wanted to do the topless tuesday challenge again so I thought this would be a great time to talk about White Widow tattoos.
I’m a big fan of White Widow tattoos by Julie Hastings because she keeps mesh body parts and appliers in mind. All of her latest tattoos end before the SLink mesh hands begin. So her tattoos don’t get cut off at that part like so many others do. She also makes appliers for the Lolas tango mesh breasts to complete the tattoos. I really haven’t seen anyone else doing that. The one I am wearing today from White Widow is currently available at Acid Lily Gallery for only L$70 and the lolas applier is L$20.
Also, I just wanted to say SORRY to all those that are subscribed to my blog via email or read it on a feed reader because earlier today I was messing with some old posts from 2010 and I accidentally republished them so possibly three old posts went out to my blog feed as new. Sorry about that. I promise I am going to stop trying to break my blog now. 😛
Speaking of feed readers, how do you read your favorite blogs? I have converted completely over to Bloglovin now and have added all of my favorite blogs there. I’m still in the process of adding more slowly and I am totally in love with the android app. However, I also go and read Fashion Feed of SL to see others that I am not subscribed to from time to time. I like the site, it’s fast and very professionally done. I also like how they have split up the feed into different categories for male fashion, home and garden, designers and etc… so I can pick and choose what I want to see. Finally, I have also made interest lists on Facebook of the facebook pages of my favorite bloggers and I read those as well. So, how do you read your favs?

Hi there, I must say I am very old fashioned when it comes to how I read my blogs, I probably make it more complicated than it has to be as well laughs, but I bookmark them all and stalk them on a daily basis and look up my fav bloggers like that.
I like fashion feeds as well, but sometimes the entry starts with text and no pictures, so I would have to go to the original blog as well so I prefer to do that right from the start 🙂
I have a question to your picture in this post, the hair looks very nice and shiny, I am wondering, if that is due to the new materials feature, or due to photoshop, if you don’t mind me asking, oh and, if it is materials, would you happen to know, if other than the official SL viewer, others are providing that feature as well?

I put most blogs on my daily reading list (incl your, Berry) in the sidebar of my own blog, where I can see what’s new. Starting my day by browsing thru it … I call it my Dawn Patrol.
JC, yeah I used to bookmark myself, but then one time my browser just broke and I lost all of the bookmarks I had accumulated so that’s when I started using a feed reader, just to be on the safe side. As for the hair, I don’t believe it is materials ready as Truth has not announced that he has started to do that and as far as I know, I believe the only viewer that has materials is the official so far.

FYI, the male equivalent of Topless Tuesday is Whip It Out Wednesday, so get Manberry’s manly bits in order.

There was a vague attempt, Oscar, but one or two gentlemen in SL to start a Wiener Wednesday, but despite the initial excited reception by some, the effort went flaccid and petered out after two weeks.

Um… how I read blogs. I have to admit that I use Sltransfusion as a huge bookmark. That blog links so convenient all my fav blogs on the left side, while some other blogs tuck away links more. Plus she’s an aweome blogger.
The White Widow yes, I really REALLY struggle to get chest/shoulder applier tattoos to line up. It is a pest I tell you! I haven’t tried White Widow but I have tested Identity’s Blood Tears tattoo. I find breast tattoos that are only a rose or a heart that is only on the breast easy.
But for such a low price I will try again. My alt has Puffy! Mesh breasts and I know Tangos tattoos isn’t always fitting for them, but I can treat the alt this one too. If you speak with the designer can you ask her to put the body shape she uses to fit the Tangos with?
PS: You seen the Phat Azz mesh bootie/legs yet?

Marianne, I haven't tried Phat Azz as of yet. Although I am a big fan of a nice plump booty, the pics I've seen of that might be a bit too much for me. I do have plans for trying a demo and seeing how small I can make it though..soon.
Hm, a bit unhappy. I got a better match between avatar body and breasts than I thought, but it is more visible than in White Widows ads. Photoshopped maybe?
That they sell with tattoo layer only is another disappointment. I use up tattoo layers on face and hairbase already. I couldn’t see the tattoo going up so high that it couldn’t be used witha undershirt layer.
But for this reduced price I am still satisfied. A full priced tattoo that’s several hundred with appliers sold separatly? I think I would be grumpy and leave a less that favorable review on the MP.
Hey Marianne, I actually always get seams with any clothing I wear with the lolas, I’ve never gotten a perfect match and I thought it was because I wear my lolas a lot smaller than most do. I think that is the case, so to me, the seams on this were normal, but I don’t really wear my lolas other than pics so it works fine for me. However, I think you should definitely contact her and let her know that you couldn’t get it to match like hers and also about the tattoo layers. Hopefully she’ll offer more options in future releases then.
