“I once had a rose named after me and I was very flattered. But I was not pleased to read the description in the catalogue: no good in a bed, but fine up against a wall.”
Hair Fair opens to the public tomorrow, the 13th, at midnight or noon SLT (sorry, I am not sure which one). You can keep an eye on the Hair Fair blog for all the updates and SLurl. There is a lot of gorgeous hair this year, I already have a few favorites and this is one of them. The Kun hair by Anya Ohmai is one of the four styles she’ll have available at the fair. I feel as if this style is very romantic with the braid and the roses adding more romance to it. You can check out the other styles by Anya on her flickr.
Also, I wanted to add that a few people have messaged me asking me to do a tutorial showing how I did the picture in my haunted meme post earlier this week. Life is a bit hectic these days therefore I won’t be doing the tutorial until another month or so. But since some people really wanted to know, I thought I would share. I basically took 4 separate images in each pose, in the exact same position. Then I layered each image in photoshop turning the opacity down to various different levels in each layer. I’ll try and do a video tutorial in about a month or so showing how I do that but hopefully that will help you guys out for now.
UPDATE: Hair Fair is now open and Seraphim has done an excellent job of covering every single hair there, details in this post: (Hair Fair 2013 via Seraphim) Thank you Seraphim team for your amazing coverage! <3
