What’s A Girl Gotta Do?
What’s a girl gotta do…to have some fun? I had a bit of fun today. I decided to get all tattooed up and head down to a club to see what trouble I can get myself into. I noticed that all the tattoos I had were really old and I was kind of bored of them, so I asked my plurk friends for some good tattoo places and they really came through. This plurk has a great list of SL tattoo artists if you’re looking for an awesome new tattoo. I picked up a whole bunch and I thought these two went well with my look today.
I then headed to a new club a friend of mine just opened, however when I landed there it was empty. I guess I need to figure out all the timings for parties and such. However, I’m really busy in real life this month so it’s hard to work around schedules. I don’t get a chance to login as much and if I do, I’m usually distracted. I would love to know of more clubs that usually have a party going on 24/7 so I can go to them anytime I get time to login. What are your favorite clubs that you hang out at often? I mainly just want to go for pictures (sorry :P) so I would love one that is open air (better for shadows) with great textures and just nice to look at. This time when I went to the club, I didn’t stand in the middle of the dance floor in an awkward pose to take pictures. I actually danced. Which led to my next dilemna, my dances are way outdated. I used my favorite dance from Akeyo that I bought like 4 years ago. Can you share some of your favorite places for dances? I want something that’s not too fidgety, more relaxed dances that would photo well because you know I’m camera-happy.
I don’t know why I’m getting back into clubbing again. I blame my real life friend that dragged me to one a few weeks ago. I was bored at first but then I got really into it and I remembered how much I used to enjoy it. Now that I’m busy this month, at least I can kind of enjoy it in SL. Oh, and Humanoid has some pretty cool, laid back dances.
I like the Henmations dances, Humanoid you should check out but for me the male dances lacked something, the female might be better!

Sadly many of my favorite clubs no longer exist but one that still has some reasonable crowds is a blues club called Fogbound. I can get you an SLURL if you need it but it comes up in search.
As far as dances, My Animation has a huge selection and various styles.

I really like the atmosphere at Muddy’s. It has DJs 24/7. It’s more of a relaxed pop music kind of club, but you might enjoy it.
Go to MyAnimations and pick up the 221 dance series. I think that’s from there. If not there, then it’s from Studio4D. Not fidgety and still moves you a little bit.

I belong to a troup called bellydance Godess stars…we are headed by the the belly godess oasis owner who is a real belly dancer..She teach us how to make choreographies sequences using sl animations and we present fom time to time shows or just perform on stage…a real and pure fun. . in her sim you may find lot of areas build by herself such as club .mall for belly designs. castle.hamam pavillion for performances . and lot more.

Not so many mention mesh tattoos, they are the only way to get one arm tattoo, or 2 different ones on each arm. They go over the Slink hands too – usually. They aren’t 100% perfect, but then again, what are perfect in SL? It’s a tiny gap between arm and sleeve, the sleeve can cut into the shoulder, you can get clashes woth the clothes, they work best with sleeveless tops.

Like many others I recommend Henmations and MyAnimation. But I’ve also picked up a few very nice dances over at VISTA (the VISTA dances I have are more low key and more general than what Henmations and MyAnimation offer … some nice grooving that fits nearly all kinds of music).

Looking very badass, love it! I bought my first tatt in a long time last night, I love it.
I get my dances from Humanoid, but recently I bought the new Essences AO from Vista, and that has some rather cute little dances, a little on the flirty side but not overly sexual. You can buy them seperately, as far as I know!
Great stuff for dance animations. anybody got a good place for simple female animations?
