Material Girl
I’m sitting here listening to Material Girl by Madonna and it’s bringing back hilarious memories from the 80s. Mostly of my sister and I as little girls dancing and bouncing around to it on our beds and then bashing into each other really hard slamming our heads together very painfully! Clumsiness tends to run in the family, especially amongst the women. Unforunately, for some reason, I seem to have the worst case of it.
Anyhow, quick post today because I really wanted to show off my new jewelry from Maxi Gossamer which is Materials-Ready! Hi Berry, sorry for asking what is probably a stupid question, I’ve been in SL for 5 years I should probably know better, lol.
Lately you have been wearing the skin, plus a skin face as well, I just wondered what that is and how it works?

Hi Chantel, it’s no problem, I can understand it’s very confusing. I actually talked about it in this post: https://strawberrysingh.com/2013/07/03/did-you-know and then Keely Mistwood left a comment in that post explaining things further so that’s why I’m linking it so you can get the full story. But just to sum it quickly: The Shops sell their skins with the body and face separately by putting the face on a tattoo layer. Well when I tried on the body, it was giving me weird white eyelashes and I couldn’t figure out why (Keely replied to this in the comments) so I decided to try the face tattoo with my League Aria skin in golden and they fit perfectly.
This is how I ended up using two skins. I don’t mind actually because the League skin comes with appliers for both SLink mesh hands and feet so I think it worked out well.
The lighting on the first picture came out really great, especially the look of the eyes.. picture conveys many things.

I went through your latest posts and got stuck here on this one 🙂 I love the faceskins! Also the Ison dress and Boon hair looks so nice on you! The face skin looks very natural, it s really a good choice 🙂 I also love the league bodies to bits but the new Aria face doesn t work on my shape so the new faceskin concept is an answer to my prayers 🙂
