Weird Questions Meme
Before I start with today’s meme, I wanted to talk about the picture. Today’s image has nothing to do with the meme itself, but I just wanted to show off my new materials-ready cyber gauntlets that Sion Pearl sent me. Aren’t they totally sexy? I had to go all out and make a sexy cybergirl with mesh corsets and all. If you’re using a materials-ready viewer then you’ve got to pick up a demo and try these babies out!
Now on to the meme, last week I asked you guys to get really creative so I thought this week I would keep it simple and easy. I’ve already asked a bunch of questions about your SLife, avatar, names, etc… so I figured now was a good time to bust out all the weird questions that I’m always wondering about but I’m normally too shy to ask. So here we go…

- Do you wear underwear/panties underneath your clothing when out and about on the grid? No, the only time I wear lingerie of any kind is if I’m wearing it for a photoshoot, or if I’m trying to seduce someone…which has never ever happened before because I am an innocent angel. *coughs*
- If you won a million linden dollars, what would be the first thing you buy inworld? Hmmmm, not sure tbh. I usually just buy whatever I really want right away (cuz I am an addict). I might get a sim and actually buy a house and furnish it. But I have a feeling I would get bored and drop the project in the middle. I am so boring. :-/
- Have you ever bought something in SL and then realized afterwards that you had already owned it from before? Yeah actually that happens to me quite often. One time I went to this awesome pose store and bought a whole bunch of poses and props then totally forgot that I had done that and a month later I went back to the same pose shop and bought almost the whole store again and then went home and realized that I had doubles of it all now. This is my SLife.
- Have you ever done anything in Second Life that would be considered illegal in real life? No, I am totally virginal and angelic! OK FINE! I may or may not have broken into someone’s home and took pictures sitting all over their furniture, not telling whose or where or when or anything else though! 😛
- If you could go out on a date with any other avatar, who would it be? Bouncer Criss
- Who, in your opinion, was the greatest avatar to ever slive? Swirly Cyclone
- What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done inworld? Hmmmmm, there are so many things…where do I begin. I remember one time I was with someone that I had a major crush on, but we were just friends and he was showing me a new sim and I accidentally removed my top and then I was lagging so it took me forever to put my top back ON and this whole time he was laughing and snapping pictures. Yeah, this embarrassing stuff just comes naturally to me.
- If your avatar had a mind of its own, what do you think it would say to you? “Strawberry? Really? You couldn’t think of anything better?”

Have you ever bought something in SL and then realized afterwards that you had already owned it from before? Yes, but it was a no-copy item.
Have you ever done anything in Second Life that would be considered illegal in real life? Yep. When the Destination Guide flooded my park with newbies, I got out a machine gun and turned damage on for the sim. Killed a few dozen before I got bored.
If you could go out on a date with any other avatar, who would it be? (drumming fingers) You know, I can take a hint, but there’s a reason why I got that restraining order against you. Oh, and stay out of my trash. Your makeup scares the raccoons.
Who, in your opinion, was the greatest avatar to ever slive? Me, of course. The rest are welcome to rez a prim and call the llSuckMyDust() function.
What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done inworld? Sank all of Edloe’s terraform to 0 height. We sailed and waterskied until the rollback came.
If your avatar had a mind of its own, what do you think it would say to you? Nothing. I’d be muted/blocked.

I actually have a weird question for you, Berry. Your teach me something meme got me thinking about gifs and using them inworld. I am curious to know if you’ve ever come across hair that contained animated textures that were originally a gif? What I mean to say is, not a texture rotated over the face of a prim, but flashed cell by cell such as a blinking prim eyeball on a furry head would. I’m wondering if a creative hair designer could subtly create the illusion of moving wisps this way? All Medusa jokes aside, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Have you ever bought something in SL and then realized afterwards that you had already owned it from before? Nope, never. I always check my inventory spreadsheet before purchasing any item, even freebies. (That sounds believable, right?)

Try as I might, I can’t think of anything… telling bad jokes and being sardonic is still legal, right? I hate to admit it, but I think I might actually be kind of innocent.
If you could go out on a date with any other avatar, who would it be? Like I am going to say anyone other than my partner Derry? But if i wasn’t happily partnered (coming up on two years) there is a short list of two avi’s. And let’s see; Gina Gracemount is spoken for, so there really is only one, this really cool photographer named Strawberry Singh.
Who, in your opinion, was the greatest avatar to ever slive? I never met a lot of the famous oldtimers, but there are lots of people that put a lot of work still into making SL an interesting place: Crap Mariner, Saffia Widdershins, Inara Pey, Honour McMillan, yourself. But my pick is Zayn Till, magistrate of Raglan Shire. He, and the other leaders there, have created the friendliest, silliest, most drama-free and just plain most welcoming and fun communities on the grid.
What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done inworld? I would have to say the time I tried changing as I went into Jade’s Jazz and realized it was a formal night. I ended up naked in a crowd of people, of course, instead of in my tux. This was in my noob days, so I didn’t realize how often that happens…
If your avatar had a mind of its own, what do you think it would say to you? My avatar does have a mind of his own, and is frequently embarrassed by me. I didn’t realize how badly until I found an ad he put on Craigslist trying to trade me in.

Which was the last sim you visited? (Other than your home) TwoMoon Paradise. I went looking for good snapshot backgrounds and found them.
Does your avatar look like the real you? Not even close. Although I wish I could change my shape, skin, and hair on a near daily basis like Emily does….
Do you wear underwear/panties underneath your clothing when out and about on the grid? Nearly always- it’s much easier to take an outfit off than to put it back on, so I would rather start with too many layers. (Besides, the story of getting naked is almost always worth taking the time to tell properly…)
If you won a million linden dollars, what would be the first thing you buy inworld? Certain custom tattoos and possibly hair. I change shape a lot- no really A LOT!- but what I think of as ‘base-Emily’ is a character in some fiction I would like to write, and I would like to get ‘base-Emily’ just right.

I know I’ve accumulated a number of duplicates of outfits and props, but I also actively seek gifts, MM prizes, and lucky chairs, and I’m disorganized. I’ve probably bought items I already won, but I couldn’t prove it one way or the other…
Have you ever done anything in Second Life that would be considered illegal in real life? Prostitution, from both sides of the transaction.
If you could go out on a date with any other avatar, who would it be? If I could get my RL spouse onto SL for a virtual date, that would be a treat.
Who, in your opinion, was the greatest avatar to ever slive? Probably Ted McKenna. I love the SL Club Carnal Oasis, and he is the owner who makes it possible.
What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done inworld? Like anyone who has been on SL for a while, I’ve had the occasional wardrobe malfunction. ”Where did my shirt go?” or “Oops, I didn’t mean to attach that sex toy…” Worst though was a casual sex role-play in a sim based on an adult drive-in theater. It was going well, enjoyable and erotic: my partner had a good-looking avatar and knew how to emote and role-play well. But when he suggested switching cars to try a different set of animations, a random bystander we hadn’t seen literally inserted himself into the scenario (and me). A hot steamy encounter collapsed into the worst sort of bedroom farce and I had to teleport out because I couldn’t stop giggling.
