Acrostic Poem Meme

I can hear all the groans and moans already, LOL! I TOLD you it was going to be a tricky one this week. I got this idea because I do this often with my students. They are very simple and easy and don’t need to rhyme or make any sense at all (just like Haikus). I figured since so many people had fun with the Haikus, you guys might also like this one. I did struggle a bit because I felt it was difficult to describe myself in the poem, so I asked another one of my bratty friends for help, and they did, which I’ll share later in this post.

Before we go any further, let me explain the Acrostic. An Acrostic Poem is a poem in which the first letter of each line spells out a word. It’s something I’m sure you did as a child and probably had a lot of fun with it. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy doing one for your SL name or anything to do with your SLife. I even did one for “Second Life” and I’d love to see people do that as well and express how they feel about it.

I used the ReadWriteThink’s Acrostic Poems website which helped me a lot to get it all organized and then I ended up saving the file from there and exporting it into an image file. If you are having trouble coming up with a poem on your own, you can be a total cheater and use the Acrostic Poem Generator which actually writes one for you. I used that for my name as well and will share that later too.

And finally, I asked a friend to help me when I was stuck yesterday so this is what the bratty Mr. Prad Prathivi wrote for me:
Balanced between her full red lips,
Earrings of gold and platinum pips,
Randomly she swallows it whole,
Rectally she passes it so,
Yet today it’s in her earlobe hole.

You probably won’t get his poem unless you are on my plurk timeline and have been paying attention to my ridiculous life. I wasn’t going to share what happened with me on the blog in detail, but I figured his poem needs to be explained, so you can learn all about it at this link. I think what I hate about it the most is that it’s so much more poetic than mine, LOL! So thank you Prad for your help even though I hate your guts! 😛 <3 So that's the meme for today.
