Mesh Ears
One of my most favorite jewelry/accessories designers on the grid has finally joined the mesh revolution and I’m just so excited about it! Kikunosuke Eel of Mandala is incredibly talented and now with mesh, the pieces he has created are just mesmerizing. I’ll be blogging a lot of his pieces in future posts but I had to start with these amazing mesh ears.
They come with this very easy to use HUD. I was able to tint my skin within minutes. I also love all of the options he has for piercings. You can choose different color metals, diamonds and even turn glow and full bright on and off. Loads of options to choose from!
He keeps his marketplace updated so you can pick these ears up there. One thing I did notice is that he does not have a demo available on the marketplace. I’m not sure if he does in the store but they are unisex and very easy to resize, tint and come with lots of options. Please refer to the pictures of the HUD I’ve linked above for details.

Which hear are you wearing in this photo? I bought these ears because the standard ears on my AK Lara mesh head are set a little bit too far back and certain hair pokes through them. Unfortunately, these Steking ears are not working well for me. When the ears are hidden on the AK hud, there’s a huge alpha hole to fill. I have to make the ears kinda huge to fill the gap. I wish the head makers could just leave the ear area blank instead of alpha, then the ear would blend in without having gaps.

Hey Molly. This post is from 2012 and I don’t think mesh heads were released yet. I am just wearing my classic default SL shape here, no extra mesh head on top.
