On February 27th, 2011 Glance International had their first Glance Fashion Awards that were taped live and recorded by Rezzed TV. All the nominees were asked to attend. However, Sundays are usually my RL family days, therefore I was not able to make the memorable event. Now that I found out that I actually won in the “Best Indy Female Fashion Blog” category, I am just stunned and kind of wish that I did have the opportunity to make it to the event after all.

I heard the ceremony was a lot of fun and it almost felt like Oscar night in SL. I’m totally jealous that I wasn’t there, so I am pretending that I actually DID make it to the event and I got all dressed up and I’m just gonna type my speech out below, so just humor me. 😛

It warms my heart and it was an honor just being nominated amongst some of my favorite bloggers that I look up to. There are many people that inspire me, encourage me, love me and push me to do better. In all seriousness though, I dunno how to thank you. I am pretty sure I have said this before, but I really do this blog for purely selfish reasons; for my own enjoyment and fulfillment. But knowing that you guys appreciate my work makes it all the more better. I’ll do my best to keep you entertained, you guys have really made my year! So from the bottom of my heart, Thank you <3
