Love Thursday – Kahlil Gibran
It’s no secret that I am a huge Kahlil Gibran fan. Yesterday, January 6th, was his birthday and I thought it only fitting that this week I include him in my Love Thursday post. I remember being up late at night in my youth, completely indulged in “The Prophet” (when I wasn’t reading Jane Austen of course!) Another one of my favorites by Gibran is “Tears and Laughter” which has a lot more depth and can be somewhat daunting. The text on the picture above is an excerpt from A Lover’s Call.
Now onto what I’m wearing, not that the outfit has anything to do with Kahlil Gibran (lol) but I couldn’t resist these new boots from HOC Industries that are only L$100 and come in a wide variety of colors and options. HOC is known for their great quality and excellent pricing. I hope you get a chance to check it out. The accessories of course are from one of my most favorite stores, Glow Studio!
Happy Love Thursday everyone! <3

What a beautiful beautiful poem and it strikes such a chord in me. Thank you for reminding me of Mr Gibran’s works. I will return to them now. Loved the photo, and the outfit too.
Thank you! <3
