It feels like I haven’t done a Love Thursday post in almost a year, not true though. :P I’ve just been slacking in the blogging department for a few months. At times I feel very privileged to have such wonderful friends, even if I feel I don’t deserve them. I’m quite anti-social and a hermit so not the most engaging friend at times. But I still appreciate the few that have stuck around and learned to deal with my mood swings and encourage me to be a better person.

Mr. Chaddi Masala is also one of those friends that has been there for me even when I threaten him and call him names. Well can you blame me? Do you know what his name is? In my language, chaddi means underwear and masala means spice. When I first read his name I was like ewwwwww. I remember the first day I was telling him about the cool indian club I hung out at when I was a newb. He asked me where it was so I gave him the lm and said, “Ok, but don’t you DARE tell people you know me! I don’t want to be associated with someone named SPICY UNDERWEAR!!” And of course the brat that he is, the first thing he did was go to the club when it was packed with all my friends and announce, “Hey guys, I’m Berry’s friend.”

So I was hanging out with Mr. Spicy a few days ago and I really liked what he was wearing. He always brings out these really cool avatars and outfits that totally blow me away. I am still in love with his samurai outfit. This outfit is called “Death’s Master” and I thought it was very well textured and would be great for rping. I had to take a shot of him in it with his emo eyeliner on. LOL Totally loved the whole look and of course he happily obliged.

That’s what friends are for. They’re there for you when you need them and put up with all your crazy mood swings and crankiness. This love Thursday I am thankful for all my friends – Zaara, Cat, Sean, Chad, Sawyer, Winter, Elu, bishes (you know who you are) and everyone I chat with on plurk. Although I don’t get the chance to read all your plurks or respond to them, you guys always manage to make me laugh and smile, even when I’m being cranky and ranty. <3

Skin Addiction is an inworld group created by Voshie Paine. I was just made aware of this group a few months ago and have been enjoying it immensely. I’ve found out about so many new skin designers that I wasn’t even aware of because I’m such a hermit.

Now I have been asked to be a blogger for the new Skin Addiction blog. I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to try new skins that I normally shy away from. The spectacular Acira Gown by Zaara is up for auction at the Call for Couture event organised by Chic Management. This special couture piece was created for a limited edition auction and the only reason I am able to wear this dress is I am one of the lucky selected few that will ever have it. The reason for that is I will be modelling it at the CFC fashion show which will take place on October 29th, 2010 @ 7pm slt. This is the slurl to the fashion show and this is how you will see me on the runway! :D

I must apologize for one thing in these pictures though. My video card has died and since I am waiting for it to be replaced under warranty I requested my good friend Zaara Kohime to shoot these images for me when she had the time. However when I did that I forgot to attach the beautiful chains that hang from the chest. You can view them in Zaara’s post and pics here. We didn’t have the chance to reshoot so I am posting the pics as is, but at least you know that you have an option to wear it with or without the chains! :D

I also want to give a big shout out to Shae Sixpence. When I heard that I was going to be in a fashion show, I kind of panicked because I had never really been a professional model or walked down a runway properly. This was all new territory for me and as you can see from my plurk I am a total newb when it comes to this stuff. :D

All my plurky friends helped me a lot with lots of advice so thanks to them too! However Shae gave me an hour crash course in runway modelling inworld. LOL It was amazing and I learned SO MUCH! I really recommend going to her for all your runway fashion modelling needs. Her and Dimitri Shinn are both the owners of BeScene Poses and gifted me some amazing poses to use on the runway which you will see me using if you drop by tomorrow night! :D Just promise not to laugh at me if I fall off the runway or something (which will prolly happen) :(

After all the nervousness and stress, once I was finally up on the runway during rehearsals it was such a rush and SO much fun! So yes, this is my Love Thursday this week. Although, I’m not sure I’m willing to try it again! LOL

I’m so proud of myself for remembering to do Love Thursday two weeks in a row now. Let’s see how long this lasts! :D

Baiastice is one of my favorite stores for gowns. They recently released a huge fall collection and as always the gowns in the collection are breathtaking and I will be sharing some pictures in them soon. But what I was pleasantly surprised to see was the spectacular mens collection this fall. Pants, scarves, shirts and jackets all textured beautifully with perfect sculpting. The best part is, the clothes are so stylish, I didn’t have to put much thought into styling my male av, which is always a daunting task for me!

Today’s pick is none other than Gems & Kisses. This store literally blows me away with their designs. They are so incredibly unique and detailed. The two sets I am wearing today are available @ Jewelry Fair. They both come with a hud so the gems inside them can be changed to different colors. If you go by their mainstore you will find some of the best quality jewels on the grid. If you don’t own anything from Gems & Kisses yet, I believe it’s time you did.

YAY I remembered to do Love Thursday today. I knew lingerie was definitely going to be a pick one day. I love it, SL and RL, it makes me feel so sexy. You can never have enough lingerie!

So be prepared, because in just a few more days there will be a new line from 5th and Oxford. Their new lingerie line, Luxuria, is set to be released next week. I have already seen 5 gorgeous new sets that will be part of the collection. I thought I would share with you one of my favorites. It’s sexy and of superb quality, as always expected from the talented Roslin Petion. Because of this new line, all of the previous lingerie will be retired so currently there is a 50% off sale.

You know I never really considered myself to be a skin addict, but I think I am slowly becoming one. I love nothing more than finding a new skin to try on and taking a shot of my face in it! I find it so much fun and relaxing at the same time. Sometimes I just get in such a zone while photoshopping, totally gives me a high. lol

So I just had to make a flickr slideshow of my skin set on flickr with all my portraits I’ve done in the past 3 years. I love how a skin can completely transform your face. Thank you to all the brilliant skin creators on the grid for the hours of fun they have provided me with! <3

Olive Juice is definitely one of my top five pose stores. I just love IsabellaGrace Baroque‘s creativity in not only her poses, but the props that she uses and even her vendor images. Using her poses and props is always quite the adventure because she’s got simple fashionable poses and then there are others that are just out of this world.
