I’m so proud of myself for remembering to do Love Thursday two weeks in a row now. Let’s see how long this lasts! :D

Baiastice is one of my favorite stores for gowns. They recently released a huge fall collection and as always the gowns in the collection are breathtaking and I will be sharing some pictures in them soon. But what I was pleasantly surprised to see was the spectacular mens collection this fall. Pants, scarves, shirts and jackets all textured beautifully with perfect sculpting. The best part is, the clothes are so stylish, I didn’t have to put much thought into styling my male av, which is always a daunting task for me!

This week’s challenge:
Romance! What personifies romance to you? It can be anything, anyone or even just the mood.

I think pearls are the single most romantic accessory a girl can own. When I put on that perfect pearl necklace, I feel as if I am ready to be swept off my feet. Pearls remind me of elegance, class, style and age old romance in an old hollywood movie. A woman wearing pearls will usually be older, more sophisticated and absolutely stunning. Because of all this, she probably has a slew of gentlemen waiting to woo and romance her.

I know this week’s challenge will probably be a lot harder than last weeks since it may require a bit more thought but I do hope you guys are able to do it. A few people have asked me to start blogger challenges…which I’m not sure why because I’m so bad at doing them myself when someone else starts them! Anyhow, I finally decided, why not? Should be fun….or it could turn into another Love Thursday or Berry’s Favorite Things which I continue to neglect. LOL But no, I think I’ll try this for a while and see how it works out.

There is a plurker that is doing blogger challenges that people have asked me about. Unfortunately she’s not on my timeline, and I rarely send friend requests cuz I’m all shy and stuffs, but I think I’ll go ahead and send a request and lets hope she accepts! *fingers crossed* :D She does some great challenges as I can see from others that have been blogging them. They are really creative and interesting and I might try and do some myself. I did a plurk last night about it, asking who it was so in case you guys want to get more information about that you can see it here.

Now this is what I’m planning to do. At the starting of every week I will do a post here to start the challenge and if you’d like to participate it would be great if you could leave your link in the comments since not everyone reads the fashion feeds and I don’t want to miss your post. I’m going to keep my challenges pretty simple though cuz I’m just not that creative! :P

Here’s this week’s challenge:
Blog about your favorite designer and why they are your favorite. What do you like about their designs? How do they inspire you? Do you have a story to share about any experiences?

My favorite designer has got to be Zaara Kohime, and not because she is my boss and best friend. In fact, the first time I blogged her I did not even know her at all. I remember it was back when I was only about 8 months old in SL. I had just started blogging, maybe about a month, and I was walking around my favorite indian mall when I happened to have run into a new store that opened up just that day. I still remember my first reaction when I saw her designs. I literally gasped at the quality and detail. I immediately purchased a few items and then blogged them here. (Make fun of my newbie blogging pics and I will KILL you! :P) Then I immed her and let her know I blogged her. We started chatting and that’s pretty much how my love affair with Zaara’s designs started.

Her latest Call for Couture items are stunning! The Acira minidress I am wearing in the picture is available at CFC as a prêt-à-porter along with a gorgeous couture gown version of this which is available to one lucky winner of the auction. Both the minidress and gown are covered in sparkling sequins which are all handdrawn and this is what I love about Zaara’s work the most. She is such a great artist! All of this started yesterday so make sure to take the slurl and bid on the auction! 50% of the proceeds from the auction will go to the Samaritans so I hope you take the time to visit Call for Couture and see the creative work from all of the designers.

I figured I would start my jewelry fair posts with one of my favorite sets in the whole fair. That most definitely would be the Gothique from Earthstones. Now I did try my very best but I know I did not do this set justice. The amount of thought and detail that went into this set can be seen as soon as you place it against your body. It is phenomenal! The choker is also a locket so it can be opened up to place a loved ones photo inside. It’s just so elegant and I know I’ll be wearing it at every opportunity.

Another gorgeous set available at Earthstones is the Falling Leaves set. The fall is incredibly sleek and sexy, I adore it. So make sure to stop by Earthstones at the Jewelry Fair. It can be found in the Beast’s castle along with the other Gothic jewels, here’s the slurl.

I got my hands on this gorgeous bohemian rapture ensemble last Saturday from O!Bleak and I have been itching to prance around in it. It is just my style with the perfect amount of color.

Zaara Kohime is officially back from a small hiatus and I just couldn’t be happier. Not only is my SL a lot more entertaining, but I have lots of new yummy clothes to wear too! :D

In just a few days, Zaara is about to release a new printed fall collection, which is all hand-drawn! Here’s a breakdown of all the pieces.

The naina distressed shrug is a beautiful piece of accessory that is available in all top clothing layers. It can be thrown over any outfit to glam it up a bit. It comes in nine vibrant colors.

The tara lycra shorts are just brilliant! They come in two sizes, hot shorts and knee shorts. They are so well crafted that when I am wearing them I just can’t help but to stare and zoom in on the texturing. They are available in 6 different colors.

The yauvani tank top is just so adorable. The sculpted prim really adds to the youthfulness of this top and it makes me feel a decade younger when I’m wearing it. Also available in 6 complimentary colors and in all clothing layers.

The trishna print skirt has got to be my all-time favorite long skirt on SL. The carefree gypsy style calls to me and the genius sculpting and texturing just makes me feel so sexy. This skirt also has an option to wear with a high waist with ruffles. I am wearing it with the low waist option. It comes in 6 gorgeous color combinations!

This whole release is perfect to mix and match with other items in your inventory. I chose to mix the printed skirt with a previous Zaara release, the bra from Zaara’s Sumana lingerie.

All of these items will be released in just a couple of days (maybe tomorrow) so make sure to keep an eye on Zaara’s plurk and flickr or join the group inworld!

The poses are from oOo Studio. Olaenka Chesnokov has been making some excellent couple’s poses along with her single pose sets. They just look so natural and really stand out. There is already a fantastic selection of poses instore and I was honored to be able to do some ads for her. To my surprise, when I went to her store, I saw other very beautiful artwork by some of my favorite photographers on the grid!

The location I shot at today is the peaceful Arcachon Village. It has a windmill, cows, pretty yellow flowers and so much more. What more can you ask for? Oh wait…you can also REZ there! LOVE IT! It’s a must visit for a pretty picture location.
