When I noticed these new Girlfriends poses from Diesel Works I knew the perfect person to ask to pose with me would be Rylan Carling.
I’ve known Rylan since 2008 when a bunch of us went on a shopping spree together. Over the years she has always been there encouraging me and messaging me whenever she noticed I was a bit down. She is an amazing and genuine friend, and so talented too! I have really seen her blossom over the years. She is now one of my most fav photographers/bloggers on the grid!

She recently created a new blog and is getting back into photography. If you haven’t seen her work yet, check out her flickr and see what she’s up to on her new blog, “Journey of a Virtual Diva”
Thank you Ry for always being there for me, for having my back and for all the encouragement throughout the years. I love you! <3
I'll be posting the credits to what I'm wearing below. Check out Rylan’s blog post for all her style credits and her amazing version of these pictures that make mine look totally amateurish!

“Tears are words the heart cannot express.”
The Estate Sale is a new label coming to you from Faint Paulse, the mastermind behind Ladies who Lunch. For details about The Estate Sale, check out Faint’s flickr here.
The skin I’m wearing is a recent release from designer Kira Ahn who is creating under the label Dekade once again. She’s recently released a few skins, including one for the guys. I’m wearing the Grace skin in Tan. The tear that you see in the picture above was photoshopped in by me and is not part of the skin.
The eyelashes are actually MESH from beetlebones and were so easy to adjust and fit, I did it within seconds.
The eyes are from one of my favorite eye creators, Ikon Innovia who has rebranded his store to IKON and has released some more eyes. I’m wearing the new IKON utopia eyes in hazel!

Finally, I just wanted to let y’all know that I will be out of town and away from SL from February 12th to 20th. Therefore I have decided to extend my 2 month advertising sale till the end of February. If you sign up for an ad campaign within the next week, please note that it will not start till after the 21st. The sale on the 2 month rate will be valid till the 29th. I am also not currently taking anymore photography clients till March 1st.
I thought I would list some of the events that are currently happening or coming up so y’all can check them out!
Collabor88 – Started February 8th
Back to Black – Starts February 11th
Festival of Sin – Starts February 18th
Have a great week and happy shopping guys! See you when I get back! <3

Today I’m locked up in one of my favorite dungeons in SL. The Abiss Interior Dungeon is really well done. It’s dark, mysterious and the textures are phenomenal.
The feline feet I’m wearing are a limited edition set from roobix. Only 50 of these Kai felines will be sold and when I went and picked it up for L$500, there were only 44 left. It comes with the blood stained feline legs, ears and tail.

My skin is Ispachi’s latest that was released a few weeks ago. It’s their special Vampire edition of the new Portia skin. There are several versions of this skin, I’m wearing thirst which has blood stained lips.

I am really behind in blogging and I miss it dearly. So over the next few days I hope to spam you all with lotsa new fashion posts. Todays is about the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser. The skin is from Glam Affair, currently available at the fundraiser as well as the gorgeous necklace from Donna Flora. I went a few nights ago and picked up quite a few items. It’s wonderful to see so many content creators coming together for a great cause.

I heard there was some drama about it and I don’t know all the details, nor do I care to, but I did want to share this story from a very important book that my father used to read to me when I was a little girl. Please excuse my poor translation and if I forget or mixup any information.
Long time ago there lived a scholar named Luqman. Luqman wanted to teach his children a very important lesson in life. So one day he asked his son to come travel with him on a journey.
On this journey Luqman brought a donkey along and requested his son to ride the donkey. So his son rode the donkey as Luqman followed on foot beside them. After a little while they came across a group of people who stared at them distastefully and said,
“What a disrespectful son! He makes his father walk on foot as he rides the donkey so comfortably.”
Upon hearing this, Luqman and his son switched positions and Luqman started to ride on the donkey while his son followed on foot beside him. After a little while they came across another group of people who stared at them distastefully as well and said,
“What a horrible father! He makes his son walk on foot while he rides the donkey so comfortably.”
Upon hearing this Luqman asked his son to join him on top of the donkey. So they continued their journey with both of them riding on the donkey together. After a little while they came across another group of people who stared at them distastefully as well and said,
“What cruel people to put so much weight on such a little animal in this scorching heat. How can the poor donkey carry such a burden?”
Upon hearing this Luqman and his son both dismounted and continued their journey on foot beside the donkey. After a little while they came across another group of people who stared at them and pointed and laughed while repeating,
“What foolish men to walk on foot in this heat. Why aren’t they using their donkey?”
At this point Luqman turned to his son and said,
“Now do you see son what the people have said. No matter what you do or how you do it, people will always find a way to criticize you.”
So the moral of the story and my reason for sharing is, don’t try to please everyone, because that is impossible. Do what you feel is right in your heart. I’m not only sharing this story for content creators, but for bloggers and anyone else that can gain from it. I too have been questioned a lot recently about why I only blog certain designers and why I only promote people that I am friends with. It upset me a bit when I heard that, but I realized that I can’t make every single person happy. So I just do what I feel is right and what makes me happy.
Alright, so that’s the story I wanted to share. Kinda weird talking about donkeys and such in a fashion post, but it’s my blog and I’ll talk about donkeys if I want to! :P
Happy shopping everyone! <3

Photography by Lulu Jameson <3
This post is totally about me being all excited like a little girl in a candy store! Not only was I asked to pose for a vendor for this fabulous new Plume hair, but Mr. Lulu Jameson took my picture for it. It always feels nice when someone actually wants to take MY picture and not the other way around. LOL Plus, I have always loved Lulu’s photography, his work is just breathtaking. And I am also loving the new Plume store, their hair is so different and fanciful.
This new pearl hair is very elaborate and comes with some very neat options. It’s scripted so with just a click you can easily resize the hair and also change the appearance of the pearls. The pearl earrings I am wearing actually come with the hair as well. The hair comes in 15 different color options and some are multi-colored to give it more of a stylish, high fashion look. It’s perfect for a night of ballroom dancing to match your lavish gown.
Fauve and Lulu also created a Plume magazine on issuu.com and one of my blog pictures ended up there, totally exciting!
