Zaara is releasing her latest line of mesh dresses today. The name of this wrap dress is Aamani which means “spring season” in Hindi. I think the name suits the dress perfectly because it will be available in 5 pastel colors and 5 floral prints which celebrate the spirit of spring. I think what I love most about the dress is the sheer layer that gives the dress more of a delicate and feminine touch. The dress will be released later this afternoon. Join the Zaara group inworld to be the first to know when it’s released and save the slurl to drop by later today!

The pose and doves will be released at Pose Fair which starts tomorrow the 29th. The beautiful white doves are a pose prop from Elephante Poses. The prop itself is called “If I Lose Myself Tonight” and it has 6 different, whimsical poses in it. You can check out the Pose Fair flickr group in the meantime to take a look at what’s to come tomorrow.

It’s my spring break and I’ve been trying to relax but lately my mind has been spinning and on top of that, the weather is not the warmest. Tomorrow I’m going to Disney, so hopefully that’ll distract me a bit. I should be sleeping, but again, my mind has other plans. So I figured I’d do another post even though I was saving this one for later this week.

The dress is by Nevery Lorakeet of Les Petits Détails. It will be released at AVENUE Spring Summer 2013 Fashion Week as well, which starts on March 31st. Sorry for all the early teasers but it’s just another few more days and you can check out the flick group to see what else is coming.

The skin I’m wearing is by the talented Shai Delcroix of Casa Del Shai. Shai released two gorgeous, hand painted skin lines at Skin Fair and I’ve been wanting to photograph them, but I wasn’t sure if I’d do them justice. They are stunning. Skin Fair ends on the 31st so you have just a few days to head down there to try on a demo.

I am going to try and get some sleep now so I’m not completed exhausted for tomorrow. If I run into Buzz or Woody, I’m definitely going to try this. Wish me luck and goodnight! <3

A:S:S (which stands for Another Stupid Shirt Shop) also creates mesh eyes (which are far from stupid :P). They are having a Photo Contest with some great prizes. I figured it was the perfect opportunity to break out their Ghost supernatural eyes that I’ve been dying to use in a post. The contest ends on the 30th, so you just have a few more days to enter. Here’s a link to their flickr group. I’m thinking I’m going to submit this cropped version of the above photo as it is more of a close up, even though I’m sad about cutting out all the butterflies.

I’m not sure where I was going with this photo, it kind of looks like an alien invasion, lol. But it was a fun shoot!

Earlier today I noticed this gorgeous picture taken by Daily on flickr and I was inspired to go check out Neva River myself and take a picture. There’s also a Neva River photo contest going on as well, details at this link.

I had another meme planned for today, but since I have been procrastinating so much the past week, I figured this would be a better choice instead. I’ll do what I had in mind for today next week.

We all procrastinate from time to time. I’m actually a professional procrastinator but that’s not entirely my fault you see, I’m easily distracted. I had taken both of these images earlier last week and had planned to blog them for Skin Fair over the weekend, but life had other plans.

2. Where was the first place you made friends as a newb and got to know people in Second Life? The first place I discovered when I was only a month old was Club Desi Beatz on the Taste of India sim. I spent the majority of my first two years of SL there. Most of the friends I have, I made there. I have so many memories of that place. That place and the people I met there is what made me fall in love with SL. The owners have since taken a break from SL so it’s no longer there.
3. Where do you spend most of your SL time now? The Zaara sim on my platform in the sky.
4. Who is your closest friend in Second Life? (only pick one) Zaara Kohime & Winter Jefferson (I cheated, sue me! :P)

This is going to be another fantastic shopping weekend with lots of new stylish releases.
