So I’ve been collared but not in the way you might be thinking. The Arcade SL is back on June 1st and I’m shamelessly teasing you with these collars from Ladies Who Lunch (sorry, don’t kill me). The collars and cuffs to match can be seen on Faint’s flickr. They will come in a variety of prints and colors. I love the rare hoot with the owl, it’s so intricately done but my absolute favorite was the chain on this Grey Throne. All of them are beautiful and can easily be added to any outfit as the perfect accessory.

This coming month there will be 100 vendors participating in The Arcade, so lots to choose from! Have all your lindens ready and keep an eye on the Arcade flickr group for all the teasers.

The skin I’m wearing is the latest from Glam Affair, called Cleo. However, I just spoke to Aida a little bit ago and she told me that Cleo will not be released for another couple of days, so hopefully after the weekend you guys should be able to go by and pick up a demo. Cleo is a very beautiful skin, available in six tones. The gorgeous Magenta Devinna did an excellent job of showing you all of the 12 makeups, 6 brow options, 3 freckle layers, 3 gloss layers and finally the extra special 3 nose layers. I feel like I really failed at this week’s SL DisneyBound challenge because I had all these ideas and I was going to use ManBerry and was going to dress him up as Aladdin, etc… but I’m currently going through a number of projects at the moment that I just haven’t had time. In fact, I am squeezing this quick picture in because well, I really really really wanna do this challenge.

This picture kind of represents my life right now. I feel like I’ve gone through (and still going through) a lot of changes and I’m seeing the world a bit differently. To make this post sound even cheesier, it’s like “a whole new world” to me and lately my life has been nothing short of magical.

Tomorrow is my 6th rezday and I’ve been planning a special post for it for about a month now, but it’s not exactly turning out how I planned it in my head. I’m going to try and squeeze time in today and see what I end up with for tomorrow. It’s been quite a journey and I feel like I’ve learned and grown a lot.

Anyhow, this week’s SL DisneyBound challenge, if you haven’t guessed it by now was Jasmine and Aladdin. I gave my Jasmine a bit of an indian twist with the henna tats cuz they were so pretty. You can check out the SL Disneybound flickr group to see everyone’s gorgeous entries in this challenge.

A:S:S (which stands for Another Stupid Shirt Shop) also creates mesh eyes (which are far from stupid :P). They are having a Photo Contest with some great prizes. I figured it was the perfect opportunity to break out their Ghost supernatural eyes that I’ve been dying to use in a post. The contest ends on the 30th, so you just have a few more days to enter. Here’s a link to their flickr group. I’m thinking I’m going to submit this cropped version of the above photo as it is more of a close up, even though I’m sad about cutting out all the butterflies.

I’m not sure where I was going with this photo, it kind of looks like an alien invasion, lol. But it was a fun shoot!

Earlier today I noticed this gorgeous picture taken by Daily on flickr and I was inspired to go check out Neva River myself and take a picture. There’s also a Neva River photo contest going on as well, details at this link.

As you can see, I kind of went photoshop crazy today. I’m not really sure where I was going with this image. It kind of reminds me of my life right now, hopefully I’ll get it all in order soon. Here’s a link to the raw image so you can have a clearer look at all the insects.

The insect collection will be available at The Arcade from Ladies who Lunch starting this Friday, March 1st. Each insect is so intricate and well done, I was amazed. They come with a resize script so you can change their size and wear them as any kind of accessory or use them as home decor. My favorite thing about them is how some of them are so delightfully animated. Some have lights and gears and wings that flutter, move, turn on and off and all sorts of things! You can’t see any of that in my picture, but here’s a short video by the talented Thalia Heckroth which will show you a few of the animations.
