FaMESHed is turning one this month. No doubt it is one of my most favorite events. Every month Fameshed brings you some of the grid’s top mesh content creators with original mesh designs.

For their first birthday they have invited back all of the designers that have participated in FaMESHed this past year. So you will find over 50 designers under two beautiful tents with all original mesh content.

Basilique is an adult-oriented members-only club in Second Life. But it’s more than just a club, it has a lot to offer with a lot of different activities. The setting is of an European town. I am standing in the main open area since you need to be a member to get into the bathhouse or watch the burlesque shows. I was given a bit of a sneak peek and you can also get a free guest pass for one week to check it all out. It’s very well done and definitely a stylish place to hang out. I hear currently they are showing a 90 minute production of Romeo and Juliet. You can keep an eye on Canary Beck’s blog for all of the details.

My skin, top and poses are all from Zodiac Taurus this month. Taurus is the sign of the bull. The bull is a symbol of strength, tenacity, virility, and power. There is a pretty awesome selection of items this month so grab the slurl and head on down there. I’m especially in love with this skin. I think it kind of makes me look exotic, what do you guys think?

I felt like exploring a new sim today so I decided to go through the search feature and Toxian City was one of the first to pop up for me. It’s a dark urban roleplay sim and when I landed I noticed there were quite a few people there. I also got a popup window that directed me to the website to read the rules and guidelines before I could walk into the roleplay area. I had to accept that I was over 18 and that I read the rules and then I walked in. I immediately noticed how stunning the build is. I didn’t walk too deep into it as I was short on time and a bit shy since I saw so many people off in the distance. However, I did see one gentleman doing a headstand and just walking around like that. lol

Anyhow, I think Toxian city is a great visit if you want to check out an interesting and good looking urban sim…and also if you’re into roleplaying of course.

As for what I’m wearing, I’m all meshed out in my new Gos shoes, Maitreya leather pants and top from Sysy which is available at Zodiac Aquarius right now.

What better way to start the new year than get a boob job, right? :D

I have been seeing massive amounts of mesh boobs all over flickr and blogs for months now and I figured it was something I might try eventually, but not right now. Then last night, I tried it and boy was it an adventure. I’m going to have to blame all this on two of my best friends and some other plurk friends. You can see all the enablers in the following two hilarious plurks:
“So do I need to get these boob thingamajiggers?” and “I GOT BOOBS!”

So here’s the deal. I tried the Lush demos by Riann Maltese available at this slurl but I didn’t end up getting them (even though I liked them very much and they are L$1050 which is cheaper than the tangos) but apparently they did not have many skin appliers out for them. So I thought I should just skip it for now. I heard the tango clothing appliers work on them though, so you could possibly give them a try.

I purchased the mesh tangos from Lolas available at this slurl. I did that mainly because my current fav skin designers had appliers out for them, such as: Glam Affair, PXL and Al Vulo. The Lolas did not have a demo and they were L$1750…but as my friend Faint Paulse said, “if you want a top notch surgeon, and implants with high quality silicon or some shit, you gotta shell out.” LOL She makes me laugh on a daily basis. She also has a lot of quality clothing with appliers for the tangos available at her store, Ladies who Lunch. I especially love this cocktail dress.

One thing to note is that I made these breasts a lot smaller than people usually would. I made them a size I was comfortable with, but when I did that I got seams. Seams are not visible if you make them a bit bigger. I photoshopped my seams out but they really aren’t that noticeable. I have a raw shot at this link on my profile if you’d like to see. More and more designers are making skin and clothing appliers for the tangos, I hope they also do for the lush as I find them both quite nice. Mesh boobs are just another fun thing to play with. I always like to try everything, mesh droids, mesh avatars, mesh eyeliner, mesh eyes, mesh hands, mesh feet and I’m glad I tried these mesh boobs as well. I’m probably not going to wear them often but I will definitely bust them out (pun intended) for some nice pictures like I do with my mesh feet and hands.

Finally, one of my favorite things about these mesh breasts is the amount of time it actually saves me in photoshopping. The shape is something I have tried to achieve before getting them, for example: in this picture which is pre-mesh boobs. That image took me hours and hours to do just because I had to shape the sl avatar boobs. The pictures in this post took me 30 minutes tops.

So these are my thoughts on mesh breasts…how do you feel about them?

Words cannot express how strongly I feel about my new leather jacket. I absolutely need this in real life as well. This is the latest release from Erratic and the best part about it is the option to wear it two different ways. I’m wearing the closed version. You can see the open version on the Erratic blog at this link. The leather textures are top-notch, it comes in 17 amazing colors and it’s so stylish! This is by far my most favorite jacket of the season.

Exile released a bunch of gorgeous styles today with hats! That is a definite plus for me. I would love to wear hats more often but I always feel discouraged because it is so difficult to fit them, especially now with mesh hair. Check out the Exile blog for a look at all three styles.

Also, I just wanted to make a note of something. I’m not a smoker in real life and even dislike the smell of smoke a lot. However, I do like to pretend to smoke in SL from time to time. I feel like it can add a lot to a look. In the past I’ve had a few people tell me that I shouldn’t promote smoking in my images, so I just wanted to say that I don’t mean to be promoting it, it’s just for the look. Like I wouldn’t really wear a dead fox around my shoulders in RL, but I may in SL just for fun. Anyhow, I apologize if it offends you.
