Yesterday was Martin Luther King, Jr. day in the US. He is probably one of the most quote-worthy individuals that has ever lived and one of my favorite quotes from him is the one above. By holding hatred, jealousy and ill-will towards others, we do nothing but make our own selves miserable. Let go of all of those negative feelings…and illuminate your life. Happy belated Martin Luther King, Jr. day! <3

Since this year has started I have been busy shooting pictures for wonderful clients. I’m so happy to have found something I really love doing in SL and I can’t wait to improve my photography skills even more this year. Working for clients that appreciate and really encourage you is also very helpful. So it is just WAY too cold in Florida for me right now. I am a Florida baby and just cannot deal with all this cold weather. I thought perhaps dressing up summery in SL would help me warm up a bit. So far it’s not really workin. :/

GizzA is one of my new advertisers and, as always, I went and checked them out. I really like this summery dress. It felt so refreshing to wear and I love the way it flowed. Mr. Revolution said it looked like an impressionist painting. GizzA has some interesting and fun attire, for men and women. Check them out on marketplace or visit them inworld.

I thought these flowery shoes, by MorganeParis Parx of My Pretty Pixels, would add a summery feel to the outfit. Also no one can complain that your feet smell. :P
