A few weeks ago I was contacted by Linden Lab® to create an image with a music theme. I wasn’t sure exactly what to do. Then I remembered this adorable pose I had from Olive Juice and asked Mr. Prad Prathivi to come sit with me. I think this is one of my most favorite pictures that I have ever done, it means so much to me. That’s why I’m so happy that it’s on SecondLife.com today. (Remember to logout if you are logged in so you can see it)
Along with Mr. Prathivi and I, you will see Miaa Rebane, Faint Paulse, Harlow Heslop, Sixx Yangtz, Harper Beresford and Ivoni Miles. Just click on the arrows to see all of the images. Congrats to them all. <3
After submitting the above picture (which is pretty much a raw screen shot) I had played with the image more in photoshop and posted it on my flickr, so sharing it below. While processing the image, I was listening to "I love you forever” by the amazing Two Steps From Hell.
The couple’s pose in this image is by IsabellaGrace Baroque of Olive Juice. She will be giving this pose out for FREE at Pose Fair which will run from April 15th till May 5th. So remember to drop by the Olive Juice booth and pick up your free pose! <3

So I disappeared up north for a bit and got to play in the snow. Remind me never to do that again! I am SUCH a Florida girl, I need my warm weather. Anyhow, it was still fun and now I’m back to torture y’all again!
Since I’ve been back I’ve went to the Festival of Sin, which I’ll blog more about soon and tomorrow I’m gonna tell you about my fun Valentine’s date inworld but today I thought I’d share some quick snaps of some skins I’ve recently tried.
I have to admit, I am totally guilty of changing around my skins, tones, hair colors, etc.. often. I love being able to be whatever I want in this virtual world.
So I went to Al Vulo and Akeruka and tried on a bunch of demos coming back with these two. I love the makeup on the lighter skin and I love how the darker skin gives me such a youthful look. Usually darker skins tend to make me look older and stern but recently I’ve been wanting to look a bit more youthful inworld. Maybe cuz in the real world I’m over 30 now and really feeling my age. :P
Anyhow, I kind of want to try more skins. I did try the new indian skin from Body Co, it’s gorgeous and I love Zoe Demar’s pic of it, however I was so sad that it didn’t really suit my shape.
Can you guys recommend some other darker or ethnic skins you think I should try? I’ve been feeling the itch to shop! Thanks! <3

Felicity and I have been trying to get together for weeks now for a combined blog post, however we’ve both been pretty preoccupied. She’s the Belleza Brand Manager and has been busy blogging up a storm, and I’ve just been a lazy ass and enjoying my summer. :P
Today I found out that there’s a blogger challenge going on so I thought this is just the perfect timing. The challenge is to blog about someone that inspires you. So here she is, my inspiration, Felicity Blumenthal.
I met her on plurk back when we all first joined in 2008. One thing I noticed about her right away was her loving nature. She’s the type of friend that I wish I could be and so thankful to have. She’s always there to lend an ear when you want someone to talk to or have your back when you need it the most!
She’s also incredibly stylish and always looks sensational. She’s been blogging for many years now and her blog has always been in my reader and on my blogroll. I also admit to stealing quite a many items from her credits for my own blog posts. She just knows what looks good!
I’ll be listing my credits below, to get her credits you must visit her blog, My Second Closet. She should be blogging her post shortly, if she doesn’t, y’all can IM her and yell at her. :P Or just leave her lots of “hi” offlines…she loves those!

I took ManBerry for a walk in Old Italy today. People always ask me where I find the sims I shoot at so I thought I would share some of my secrets:
- Mademoiselle Eve’s blog – It’s in French so I admit to not really reading the content but I do drool over her creative pictures and steal the slurls she always lists at the end of her posts. She finds the most amazing places.
- Avatars in Motion – A Travel Blog! You rarely see any avatars in this blog, but what you will see are gorgeous images of some of the best places to explore in Second Life.
- The Beauty of SL – Another great travel blog with beautiful pictures.
- Cajsa Lilliehook’s Landmarks in a Notecard – The generous Cajsa Lilliehook has shared a wonderfully organized notecard of landmarks which can be picked up at this slurl.
- SecondLife Art & Entertainment – A great blog run by a bunch of very talented individuals who also have a group inworld by the name of Just Art.
- Honour McMillan’s blog – Another wonderful and very thoughtful travel blog which I also enjoy. Honour is also currently working on a project for SL8B and has asked for our help, all the details in this post.
- Places on Koinup – GeoTagging the Metaverse – The Places Project is a collection of slurls and locations posted daily by Koinup members.
Now here are a list of different flickr groups where you can share your SL travel pictures.
- SL Tourist Board – slurls should be in the description of the images
- SecondLife Travels – slurls should be in the description of the images
- SL Photographer’s Heaven – Sims/Places where you can REZ!
I hope you find the above links as useful as I do. Happy exploring! <3

Mr. Prad Prathivi is probably one of the most renowned Second Life residents. His talent for building is hard to miss and his award winning blog, Metaversally Speaking, has kept us all informed and entertained on many occasions.
These days his time in SL is quite limited. He’s been keeping himself busy in his RL although he does think about returning to build inworld once again. Since he’s the guy I always thought to be “in the know” I asked him his thoughts about Linden Lab and if he believed that SL would still be here in 5 years. His very wise and well-informed answer was:
Prad Prathivi: SL™ will still be around, but the way it’s going, it looks like it’s being stripped down and primed to be sold off. They’ve bought in Rodvik to hold the fort, and it’s being said on the grapevine that a lot of the key investors have already pulled out. I think SL will be sold off and then go into demise as it further disillusions the community. What comes next is anyone’s guess. The most successful online communities all have mobile versions and apps though.. any virtual world that wants to succeed needs to take that into account. My advice.. don’t make any huge investments in SL, and don’t hold too much faith in the Linden dollar currency.
And there you have it folks, wise words from Mr. Prathivi!
I recall the first time I met Mr. Prathivi. It was at a party where he approached me and right away started making fun of my name. Typical behavior of his, since he just loves to find ways to tease and torture everyone. I do admit to behaving like a complete moron and giggling like a schoolgirl whilst laughing at all his jokes. Little did I know that he, himself, is the devil incarnate. YES! I SAID IT! This is my chance to take my revenge for all the years of mental anguish knowing him.
Ok so maybe I am exaggerating a little bit. At the risk of totally embarrassing myself, I’ll admit that he is also another one of my favorite flickr artists that I had the biggest crush on back in the day. I love his work and his sense of humor and I still remember the first time he ever did a pile-up picture of me, I was in shock! It was also because of him that I met Mr. Revolution (although I’m not sure that’s something I should be thankful for? :P).
All in all, Mr. Prathivi is probably one of my most favorite people to joke around with. He makes the time you spend with him enjoyable and he seems to have this gift of being able to engage and include every person in the room. I’ve been lucky enough to attend a few of his parties, (where I took embarrassing pictures and I even got an awesome t-shirt with his name on it) and I have always felt warmly welcomed.
Thank you Mr. Prathivi for years of entertainment and also for taking the time to pose for me. <3
