I have always been a big fan of Achariya Maktoum‘s adventurous fashion sense and her style of writing. Her blog manages to be amongst my top favs continuously and she really has a way of involving the whole community in her posts. She’s bold, honest, once you get to know her: a total sweetheart and I admit to totally having a crush on her boy av! :D But the best part of all is, she’s a fellow Floridian! I am SO gonna stalk her in RL one day. >:D

Although it’s still too cold for me in Florida, I am totally excited about spring approaching. This week’s spring release at AOHARU has added to that excitement. Strapless flowery dresses, knotted shirts and long tanks along with these adorable sneakers are just what I needed to get in the spring mood.

The new hair release at Tiny Bird is perfect for these dresses. The bow is color change and can be matched to all the colors. When I went to pick up the hair, I looked around and fell in love with the new look of the festivale sim. I decided this was the perfect place to take my spring pictures.

Ok I admit to totally being lost in SL 2.0 still. It’s taking me a lot longer to get used than I thought it would. However, there are some features of it that I adore. One is the new tattoo layer. The above eyelash tattoo is a great replacement for those prim lashes that are always a pain to adjust. Available at Stellar Designs for only L$125

Glow Studio

The streaming makeup tat is from Glow Studio. They have a wide variety of face tattoos available for very reasonable prices. The Huz tattoo was released today and is only L$1.

The skin I’m wearing is from KA Designs and it is another darker skin that I have picked up and added to my collection. They have a great selection in dark skins with several different kinds of makeup.

When I was first approached to do this sci-fi post, I have to admit I was more than apprehensive since this is foreign territory to me. I am so not a sci-fi girl but after exploring, asking plurk and other friends for help, I had loads of fun styling, shooting and processing these images.
