In the past month or so Zaara Kohime has worked on and released three outfits that she says were inspired by the spirit of Goa. I had a chat with her about what this exactly means so she gave me a little explanation for each outfit that I found so fascinating I felt as if it HAD to be blogged.

Essentially the Goa series is more about the kind of people that visit Goa rather than the place itself. The first outfit she released from this series was the long dress Calangute that came in so many colors. This elegant dress would be worn by those who have an annual ‘rejuvenating’ trip to Goa and would check into an expensive boutique hotel with exotic spas and private beaches. In this dress, you can visualize yourself sipping white wine in your personal beach shack while waiting for your kerala head massage appointment.

The Anjuna outfit is more for the laid back beach bum variety. This species usually is found outdoors, exploring one beach a day, stopping at shacks to enjoy the calamari fritters and Kings beer. They tend to lie in their chairs all day until the necessity to pee. (Which might be often since beer is cheaper than water in Goa.)

The third and final outfit called Xacuti (which will be released soon) is usually worn by a strange more nocturnal being. They sleep off the day, and proceed to beach hop all night, from one rave party to another. Progressively getting drunk and/or stoned, they don’t even know what they’re doing anymore. I’m just wearing the bikini part of this colorful outfit, but to see the whole idea view Zaara’s picture. As you can see from the pic, looking unusual is mandatory. In this outfit imagine yourself tripping all night to trance and waking up the next day wondering where you are and what you did last night!

So there you have it folks, what an interesting and educational series. Not only are they gorgeous, colorful and fun to wear but the stories behind each outfit are so fascinating!

I thought it over for a bit and finally came to this decision. I’ve always wanted to try out wordpress, had no experience in it, so I thought this would be the best way. Now that Azar has left Second Life, I figured since Fashion Twat was her baby, I would let it be just hers and I have moved all my posts from there to here. I also realized the personal blog I had started few months ago was lying dormant most of the time. So instead of trying to maintain all these different blogs, I accumulated all my posts into one and decided to continue here. I will try and get this blog on the Fashion feed (lets hope it happens soon). If not, I’ll just continue to blog for fun, when I want and only because I enjoy it. Most of the posts will revolve around fashion and photography though, because that’s just what interests me.

Along with her weekly new releases, Zaara Kohime of Zaara Indian Couture has managed to re-texture her Indian bridal outfit and has made it even more stunning! It was previewed in Saturday’s Fashion show at the new Velvet sim by Bianca F.

There are four different options for the bridal top, two being longer ones. There is also another prim (bridal dupatta) that falls from the shoulder and many little extra ribbons and added touches. The textures and details are immaculate!

To go along with the bridal outfit, she has created traditional kundan jewelry which has about 6 to 8 pieces and two different styles for the head jewel. You can see the amount of time and detail that went into each piece just by the pictures.

So for all you brides to be, think about putting a bit of ethnic flair into your wedding with this stunning ensemble!

I SO did not abandon my blog. I know it’s been almost a month since I posted something here, but hey in post one I told you I was a procrastinator so neener :P

Anyhooooo, (ew, did I just say that?) I’ve been kinda busy in rl so not even on sl as much as I would like to. I did however recently get the most awesomest and amazingest skin EVA!!! PXL skins are the besterest and damn do I look HOT! (well, at least lukewarm).

Recently I did kind of a “boudoir” series just to show off my skin some more since I like it so much I’ve been naked most of the time now! :P

Here’s a little glimpse:

I love the shading on the back of this skin, it’s absolute perfection! This is by far one of my favorite skins now. I can’t seem to take it off, it’s just that beautiful.

I’m working on a few projects that I will blog about soon so you see this blog is still alive!

A whole year has gone by with a blink of an eye. I’ve met so many wonderful people and have seen so many beautiful things. Few people that will always remain dear and close to my heart: Chad, Noori, Sam, Azar, Zbornak and Zaara. I have spent the most time with you, time I will never forget and always cherish. Love you guys a lot. *HUG*

Let’s see if I can last another year. ;)
