I’ve installed a SOPA strike plugin which will make my site inaccessible January 18th from 8am to 8pm est. Learn more about SOPA and the SopaStrike.
I apologize to all of my advertisers for the interuption this may cause your ad campaigns on my site, I will add a day to all of your campaigns. I just felt that it was important for me to do this.

Speaking of which, February 15th will mark my two year domain anniversary. Just the other day I shared my very first blog posts from December of 2007 on plurk and got a good giggle with everyone. To celebrate my domain anniversary I am going to do a small sale on my two month advertising rate. Normally it is L$6500, but from now until February 15th, it will be L$3000. So for L$3000 you can have your 125×125 ad/logo on my sidebar for two months. Please email me if you are interested in having that setup.

Don’t forget to take action, check out wikipedia for all the info:

Recently a lot of you have switched over to using Exodus Viewer and have been contacting me about a few things that you guys are all having problems with. I figured I’d cover them all here cuz it seems everyone is having the same issues.
- Lines and/or glitches on your pictures: I did get that as well in the latest releases so I have actually gone back to Beta 5 which is available at this link: 11.10.31.1 That’s the release that is working best for me right now without any glitches or other issues. I will keep updating with every new release though and see if it works better for me.
- New snapshot window: The new snapshot feature is actually part of SL Viewer 3 that Exodus has adapted. You will find the snapshot feature like this not only in Exodus but also in the official SL 3 viewers and any other viewer that has adapted the v3 UI. It’s a bit tricky to get used to but here are some screenshots of the steps you take to take a pic now:
a. Click Save to Computer
b. Click Resolution
c. Choose your desired resolution and hit save
- My resolution and graphics card: I shoot all of my pictures at 5760×3084 resolution and I have a gtx 560ti graphics card. All of the images you see on my blog are photoshopped (unless otherwise stated).

The tattoo I’m wearing is from Huz Tats. Huz Tats temporarily does not have an inworld location at the moment so if you’ve been looking to pick up some of the brilliant tattoos from there, you can try looking on marketplace or contacting Hunain Bellic inworld and he’ll be able to help you out.

Before I begin talking about what I’m wearing, I just wanted to let you guys know that I took these images using Kirstens Viewer S22 which is an unreleased viewer that I had the pleasure of testing. As expected, it works remarkably and has exceeded my expectations in performance. Kirstens Viewer has always been so innovative and I feel the disconuation of it was a great loss to the whole community.
However, now following this afternoon’s announcement on the Kirstens Viewer blog, we have a chance to bring it back, with added benefits! So read the post completely, check out the pitch on crowdfunder and view Kirstenlee Cinquetti’s youtube video for all the details!

Living in Florida, Autumn is a season I don’t get to really enjoy. We don’t normally have the leaves turning colors and falling as they do up north. So yes, I am kinda jealous of y’all up there.
LeeZu recently released this gorgeous cardigan in the most perfect autumn colors. As always, her sculpt work and textures are immaculate. I found this cardigan to be very playful, youthful and stylish at the same time.
The sophisticated pants are from the LaViere Summer collection but I think the style and color are perfect for fall as well.

The storm sandals are my new favs from Gos. I adore all the options that Gos always gives us. The hud is fast and smooth and the toes are just perfection. You can mix and match the colors of each strap, sole, lace, etc… I’ve mixed brown and beige to go with my look today. It only took me a few mins to match my skin and decide on the shoe colors I wanted to wear. I love it when designers make our slives so easy, thank you Gos! <3

The October issue of Avenue Magazine has just hit the stands and for this month I thought I would talk about my favorite costume store on the grid, Deviance. If you’ve never been to Deviance, you’re missing out and should go check out the store…like right now. For all my style credits, check out pages 85 to 90.

Also don’t forget to read the whole magazine because one of my most favorite designers (and good friends) is on the cover, Faint Paulse of Ladies who Lunch. Check out her awesome interview from pages 35 to 44.

Finally, and off topic, tomorrow there will be a big announcement about Kirstens Viewer. Keep an eye on their blog for all the details. I will also be doing a Kirstens Viewer post tomorrow as I have been fortunate enough to test the preview viewer S22 that will also be announced very soon. I am really excited about all this, so make sure to come back tomorrow for all the details!

I am participating in Linden Lab®’s Fashion Event today in the SL™ Community Forums, please read and participate if you can, I will love you forever and ever! <3
My blog post is in the blog section here: Fashion Expert Strawbery Singh: Ethnicity in Second Life
I’ve asked a few questions in the Fashion Forum already. Login to the forum using your SL username and password and participate if you can:
- What do you think was the hardest thing to get used to when you first started SL?
- Is the SL you similar to the RL you in looks?
- How do you feel about content creators using templates?
- What are your thoughts on Mesh?
- What skins have recently caught your eye?
I will probably add more discussions later today so keep checking out the fashion forum and participate in some of the other discussions that the other participants have started. There are some great topics in there.
I loved Harper Beresford’s “How has your look changed over the years” question. I participated in that and also added it to the SL Evolution flickr group she created this morning. I hope you guys participate as well!
Please feel free to IM, email or leave a comment in my blog post or on the forums if you have any questions or topics that you would like me to discuss!

When I was deciding what to write for my post, I thought this topic would be perfect. I created the Ethnicity in SL flickr group back in 2008 and it’s still going pretty strong. I would love for you to join it and add your images. I also have an Ethnicity in SL category on my blog as well.

All of my style credits can be found in my blog post on the SL Community forums today. I am honored and totally excited about having the opportunity to do this. Please take a moment to pop over to read and participate if you can!

Finally, I just wanted to give a big thank you to the folks at Linden Lab for this event. I think it’s great that they are reaching out to the community in this way. I follow them on Facebook and Twitter as well and it’s so fantastic to see them sharing pictures, posts and thoughts from different members of the community. Thank you for noticing, promoting and supporting us! <3
