Al Vulo

So I disappeared up north for a bit and got to play in the snow. Remind me never to do that again! I am SUCH a Florida girl, I need my warm weather. Anyhow, it was still fun and now I’m back to torture y’all again!

Since I’ve been back I’ve went to the Festival of Sin, which I’ll blog more about soon and tomorrow I’m gonna tell you about my fun Valentine’s date inworld but today I thought I’d share some quick snaps of some skins I’ve recently tried.

Akeruka

I have to admit, I am totally guilty of changing around my skins, tones, hair colors, etc.. often. I love being able to be whatever I want in this virtual world.

So I went to Al Vulo and Akeruka and tried on a bunch of demos coming back with these two. I love the makeup on the lighter skin and I love how the darker skin gives me such a youthful look. Usually darker skins tend to make me look older and stern but recently I’ve been wanting to look a bit more youthful inworld. Maybe cuz in the real world I’m over 30 now and really feeling my age. :P

Anyhow, I kind of want to try more skins. I did try the new indian skin from Body Co, it’s gorgeous and I love Zoe Demar’s pic of it, however I was so sad that it didn’t really suit my shape.

Can you guys recommend some other darker or ethnic skins you think I should try? I’ve been feeling the itch to shop! Thanks! <3

In a few days Glam Affair will be releasing a new skin by the name of Linn. Linn will come in 5 skintones (Light, Natural, Tan, MedTan and Dark) I am wearing tan. Each tone will come with dark and light brows as well as a hairbase option. I love the luscious lips on this skin. Each makeup looked phenomenal with these lips, but my heart went out to these gorgeous red lips. Keep an eye on the Glam Affair flickr to know when its released. You can check out a raw shot of myself wearing this skin that I shared in a plurk earlier today to get an idea of how the skin really looks without all my photoshopping.

I’ve been meaning to mention my new favorite eyes in a post for a while now. Before I left for vacation I had asked plurk about some eyes I had seen and desperately wanted. Surprisingly the talented gentleman that created those eyes is also on plurk. Fashism eyes by Ikon Innovia have become my new favorite eyes now and I have been wearing them over a month. I did a few pics in them already that can be found on my flickr. There are so many gorgeous colors to choose from but I especially love these deep warm sunrise that I’m also wearing here.

So if you are a hermit like me and have never been to Fashism, definitely check them out. You will not be disappointed!

The dress I picked up from the je suis Christmas Market. You’ll find an adorable little area full of small stalls from various stores (Julia was also sweet enough to save a space for me and my gift cards). I also picked up an adorable snowman from the market along with other little accessories and some gorgeous hair.

Belleza has done it again with a new skin named Chloe. I am wearing the makeup that was sent to the Belleza group two days ago. This makeup is in all tones and with cleavage options. Rumor has it that the full release of Chloe will be very very soon and she will come with a lot of makeup options as well as lighter brows. The outfit I am wearing is from Osakki. I really want to take a moment and rave about Osakki. I absolutely love designer Kaysha Piers’ creativity. Her designs are so stylish, so sexy and so chic. The rich colors she chooses to use along with the impeccable textures and outstanding quality really puts Osakki on the top of my fav stores list. This outfit is not only purple (my fav color) but is available for Modavia Fashion Week.

The skin I’m wearing today is probably one of my most favs that I’ve ever tried on. I love the way the face looks on my shape. It’s got a very youthful and sultry look. The skin is from Addict and it’s called Raia. Raia comes in 4 tones: cream, sunkissed, cocoa and mocha. I am wearing mocha and cream. Mens 24 is an event just for the fashion conscious men of Second Life (or the ladies with male alts :P). It started on August 19th and will run through the 27th. 24 established menswear designers have created limited edition items for this unique event. The outfit I am wearing above is a limited edition from GizzA which will only be available at this event to 100 lucky shoppers.

The skin I am wearing is the latest from Belleza. Jacob was released ten days ago and comes in 5 skin tones: Pale, Medium, Sunkissed, Tan and Deep Tan.

There is also an exclusive edition of Jacob that is currently available at the Mens 24 event. I am not wearing that limited edition but you can view it here on the Belleza blog. Only 100 copies of this special edition will be available.
