I’ve been drooling over these shoes since Gos started teasing us with them earlier this week. Finally we’ll be able to get our hands on them today! They will be released today at 12pm SLT. So in just a few more hours you can head down to the Gos Boutique and try on a demo for yourself. The shoes come in a variety of different color options for innersole, straps, wedge, metal and sole. You just attach the HUD and use the sophisticated Gos skin matching system to match your skin and then hit the menu button on the HUD to play around with colors and options.

The sexy outfit I’m wearing is from Hucci. You can find a lot of original mesh designs at Hucci, with more curvaceous sizes available than just the standard sizing. So if you have a bit more of a curvy figure, I suggest you head down there and try on a few things.
I recently had a chat with Hucci designer, Eboni Khan, regarding her curvy sizes. She told me that some of her customers message her because they have trouble fitting into the curvier sizes that she offers because they are not aware that certain sliders work with mesh. One example of this would be the hip slider, mesh moves with the hip bone. She gave me a few numbers that I thought I would show here so you can get a good idea. The first numbers of the hips and saddle bags are for the curvy CB size that she has. The second is an example of numbers that some of her customers that have a hard time fitting into the mesh have. The final numbers are of course my own hip and saddle bags that I thought I would throw in there for you guys to see. So if you just increase your hip size and reduce your saddle bags, you can still achieve that curvier hip and be able to fit into mesh a bit better. I also think the hucci hips look a lot smoother than the example hips. Also, although the Hucci hips numbers listed there are for her CB size, I am actually wearing medium in the shorts in that image. So you can see that the hip sliders really do move with the mesh.
Now I am a total newb when it comes to mesh and sliders so this information was really eye opening to me. I would love to learn more about sliders and know which ones might assist in giving a better fit to mesh, especially around the shoulder area. So if you guys are aware of more sliders that move with mesh, please do let me know, I really feel like experimenting now with shapes.

And what girl doesn’t desire a new pair of shoes? Well, this weekend we are going to be completely spoiled! Not only are we getting these beautiful rigged mesh feet, but a whole line of shoes coming from the all new Gos Boutique. Gos Boutique is a part of the Gos enterprise and the main focus of the boutique will be on women’s shoes. The best part about these feet and shoes is the actual tinting, it is so simple! Gos’ coders have scripted it so well and it’s all done through a website. It literally took me a few minutes to understand, pick my favorite five skins to add to the hud, press one button and voila, my feet were matched perfectly.

In just a few hours, Maitreya will be releasing their latest mesh collection. The theme for this release is the night life. When you need to go out and paint the town red, it’s important to dress stylishly for it. The full collection can be viewed on the Maitreya flickr and facebook page right now.
I’m wearing the Mignon evening dress in this post. It comes in 11 gorgeous colors and I love the way it hugs my curves. I can’t get over the texturing and details on it. I didn’t get a shot of the back but it’s almost backless and incredibly sexy. Probably one of my most favorite dresses on the grid at the moment.
The release includes the new Shiki shoes I’m wearing as well as skinny leather pants, leather mini skirt, suede jacket and a sexy mesh top. So drop by the Maitreya mainstore later today, it will all be released in a few hours.

Mandala has just released three new mesh ears, one of them is a clean, simple version with no piercings at all. I was so happy to see that. I plan on wearing it often with my own earrings. They are so easy to resize and tint, it literally took me 3 minutes to match them to my tone here. They don’t have any demos available but I still recommend them.
The sweater, pants and shoes are all new mesh releases from some very stylish brands. The sweater is from Epoque. I love the texture on it, it’s really well done and the spikes on the shoulders give it a bit of a futuristic look. The pants are from Drift and come with a color changing HUD for the belt/bow. Kallisto has been releasing some really stylish pieces lately, so if you haven’t checked out her store, definitely drop by. Finally, the bag and shoes are both a sexy new release from Baiastice.
I love all the meshy goodness being released to the grid recently. I remember a time where I could not do an image without liquifying the hell out of the weird bumps and bends on clothing and body, but because of mesh I am barely doing any of that now. Everything just looks so much better.
People are always asking me which viewer I’m currently using and which works the best for me; at the moment, since this blog post about gridlines, I have been exclusively using the Beta Viewer. I shoot my images at 4000 width and they turn out beautiful. I do have some issues with crashing often, but I noticed that happens more if I’m logged in later in the evenings. It doesn’t tend to happen if I login earlier in the day or morning. Which viewer is working the best for you guys these days?
